Awesome! Congrats! I have more than one friend with twins from a split
How exciting!! Congrats!!
First, congrats! Yes, twins can be scary. Trust me, I've been there! The most important thing when pregnant with twins is to watch your nutrition carefully. I took double the prenatals and had to eat so much protein it was ridiculous. That being said, my twins came at full term (38 weeks) and were healthy. I know people with singletons who also took great care of themselves and their kids came early. You never know and just have to do everything you can to keep your children healthy (singleton or multiples). Best of luck!
You just have to think positive. I have a friend who was just shy of 43 when she delivered twin boys at 38w5d and 6 pounds each. She is a very petite 5'3" and maybe 115 pre-pregnancy. They are 18 months now and very healthy. Take good care of yourself starting now. Eat right, reduce stress, walk or whatever exercise you do and remember how special this time is.
I remember hearing about a couple from New Jersey doing IVF and only used one embryo to avoid multiples. They ended up with identical triplets. The best laid plans aren't always what is meant to be!
here's to wishing you a stress free, easy pregnancy!!
Yay! So happy for you!!
Thanks everyone. I'm hoping the months will fly by but I know they won't.
