Twilighters Midnight Sun! 200+ pages

Unfortunately Midnight Sun was leaked. This made Stephanie Meyer mad and she is saying she isnt likely to finish the book.
But the good news is she has 240 something pages linked on her sight.
I read it and its good. A lot like the first three books, not like Breaking Dawn.

I haven't read the series, but she seems to have handled the situation with grace and style. I can completely understand the feeling of loss she must have had over not being able to present her craft in the way she wanted. I think I would do the same thing, drop the project because it would feel 'tainted' to me as well. Presenting it on her website is probably the only way that she can preserve the pure original idea - even if she has decided not to complete the project. It is a shame, so much work was already put into it.

I am reading this now, just done with the Port Angeles part... and NOT that I needed something else to be complete "dazzled" with Edward...but I absolutly love reading it through his eyes, how he feels Bella and about himself especially for being in love with her - I will be SOO sad not to get to finish Edwards side of it!! what a fasinating twist, you know the story...now you get the OTHER side of it!! Stephenie is just brillant..OK, gotta get back to it!

I strongly disliked Breaking Dawn, it was a HUGE buzz kill for me and wasnt even going to bother with Midnight Sun but Im so glad I read it. I actually think Midnight Sun is amazing, I think there needed to be Twilight first but I like Midnight Sun even better. I love knowing his reasons behind his actions. I so want to read the meadow scene from his POV.
I will be really bummed of she doesnt finish this book.

OMG yes!! This is one scene I would really love to be in his head for!!

I just that he kept her bottle cap...the little things!

ETA - I do agree...MS wouldn't be the same w/o Twilight first...

I have just gotten into the series. Just finished Eclipse, but haven't gotten the fourth yet. Anxious to get started on it!

I really do hope that she finishes it! I haven't started reading it yet because I'm afraid of getting interested only to find out I don't get to finish it.

Okay, I gave into temptation today and I read it. I LOVED IT!!! I didn't know how I would feel about it but I really enjoyed it. I want more! I really hope she finishes it. Edwards perspective is so..... well I can't even explain it.
