Question Need a Dr

Does anyone know where I can go see a dr today. We dont have a regular family Dr anymore since we switched insurance. I am really sick today cant breathe cant stop coughing and I have a fever of 102.1. I dont know where to go. I would go to one of those primacare places but my insurance makes us pay 100.00 to go and I cant afford that right now... Thanks

I don't know how far this is for you, but he is located just north of Keller Springs off the Tollway (on the East side).

His nurse is usually very good about working people in that are sick.

Hope you feel better

Do you have an OB-GYN? They will see you.

Any ER will see you too...if you go that route, go to one of the smaller community hospitals rather than one of the big hospitals.

DH and I see Dr. Guy Culpepper on the Tollway in Plano...he is wonderful.

I don't have the number in front of me but I go to Family Health care in Garland on Broadway close to Centerville. I really enjoy going to them, they have after hours where you can just walkin and been seen and they are open on Saturdays to just walkins. I like Dr. Murnistick from that practice. Hope you get to feeling better and I have helped you out with a dr.

I see Dr. Greg Maul in Rowlett and they take walk-ins. You might call and see how much a visit is with no insurance. They are always very friendly and nice. The number is 972-463-3100.

Good luck and I hope you are feeling better!

Just curious as to why you have to have a deductible to go to the doctor. Does you insurance not have a co payment or anything like that? I am not familar with many insurance things so just wanted that cleared up. Hope you get some relief soon.

We have a PPO and you have to pay your deductibles before everything is paid for. We dont have co pays on this plan. We use to when we had the HMO but we switched to PPO thru steves work to save money. It only cost us 50.00 a paycheck with the PPO compared to 140.00 with the HMO..

Mistas---REALLY hope you are feeling MUCH better.. I don't have any dr number handy.. I see my OB for almost anything but then again I am always pregnant or have those sorta issues and none other.

I think I should go find a Primary care person myself in case I run into something..

I pray you get better dear!!!!! and yes, if you need some soup.. today Let us know!

Actually I am better today. I am going back to work later this afternoon. He did end up going to get me some soup when he got home. I gave him the biggest guilt trip I could think of... Even last night my throat was hurting so bad I told him I wanted ice cream and I made him go run to Braums and get a sundae... But thanks all for the concern's I am better... Just need more sleep now...
