Outbreak in Dallas?
Anyone hear this? My employer said she just got off the phone with coworker. They have a new baby and live in HP, and his whole family has it and is practically quarantined. And the doc said there is a major new outbreak here...

They did say it was going to come back and it would probably be worse? Not surprised. I think I heard about a case recently on the news?

I think it's funny that we are all ending our sentences with?
I have to avoid stuff if they ask, but I wasn't purposely. I also didn't know it was going around.

Crud, I was actually hoping it was something other than swine. And just in time for the school year too. Woo...Hoo... Not good about the convulsions though. Swine didn't freak me out the first time it came around, but I'm not looking forward to seeing how it's changed this time around.

I just found this article: it is from last month - http://www.facebook.com/ext/share.ph...=MdapI&u=HLoTe
and from that article:

Nearly all flu circulating in the United States is swine flu. While it is generally milder than regular seasonal flu, it is still contagious, and 87 of the 21,449 cases reported nationwide have been fatal.

Ugh... I actually worry more about my parents, in-laws, aunts and uncles, than anything else. My mom's health is very poor and she doesn't take care of herself, my dad has cancer so his immune system is already compromised . As soon as the vaccines are available I am going to insist they get them right away. I hope we can all avoid the flu this season.
