Also looking for a pediatrician

Does anyone have any recommendations for a pediatrician in Garland or Rowlett? Our ped is retiring and we really only went to him because of a recommendation, but since Cole will no longer be seeing him, I don't see why we should continue to drive very far :) Just looking for some good recommendations. I need a ped that doesn't get annoyed with a hundred questions!

Dr. Chiang is wonderful!!! I am SO glad we have her :) She's very easy to talk to, patient and compliments me at every visit. ;) I'd highly recommend her.
(oh, and she's not Asian, her husband is, so I was expecting to meet an Asian Dr. I thought she was a nurse until she greeted us. LOL! Took me by surprise!) If you've met Teri here on the boards she's always reminded me in looks of her or they could be sisters. :)

I use Dr. Uddin.. He is pretty awesome and VERY thorough especially explaining things to the parents.. Gosh he has even drawn diagrams for me to make me understand.. :)

I used Dr. Chaing and she is great, but I personally felt the atmosphere pretty cold. Staff were always rude. I switched to Dr. Phliger in Rockwall and he reminds me of PatchAdams. He is soo good with Tyler, and the staff are soo nice and there are toys and stuff there, and a view of the lake in most of the rooms. But dont get me wrong Dr. Chaing is a wonderful doctor. I just wasnt happy there.

I just started using Dr Phiger - I loved him. . .I haven't had a pedi I just really loved something always happens. . . I love him but know I am on chips - he doesn't except NEW patients. . .I am hoping to slide . . . if not off to find another one.. . .UGH!!!

We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE our ped! He has seen Riley since birth and we have always been extremely happy with him. He does not mind a million questions and will explain until you understand. His staff is wonderful too!

Last year at Riley's two year appointment the staff had decorated the paper on the table for his birthday. Very sweet. I've had one of my friends start going to him and she has also been pleased.

Nearest intersection is Shiloh and Walnut in Garland.

Hey Kristin: Check out Dr David Carlson he's in Garland...I can get you the number...Our sons are best friends & he's a really cool guy...I think his office isn't too far from where you live...Let me know if you need his number & I'll get it from his wife....:upthumb

Does anyone know of one anywhere who is a good pedi, who will accept non-insurance patients? Oh, and who doesn't charge an arm and a leg. We've been seeing Dr. Bekker off Mockingbird, but that's a far drive from Plano.
