Spelling Tests for my First grader!

Michael brought home a paper last week with the first grade study agenda...and he has now Monday Spelling PRETESTS and the words he missed he has to bring home along with the spelling word list and practice them to prepare for the Spelling tests they will have each Friday.Tuesday was the day he brought home the spelling words (since Monday was no school) and he missed a couple...but we gave him the words yesterday and had to help a bit with sounding out the words and giving him hints on what it sounds like (i know the teacher wont do this) today I can proudly say he got them all correct (10 words) with out asking for any help! :banana

Tomorrow night will be the last night to practice at home before the test on Friday and I have confidence he will get them alll right!

Way to go little man!

In addition to the weekly words, I have my own homework agenda...which he has to do one math work book sheet a night and do lower case letter practice, I bought a book at US toys so he does one page a night too!

My baby is growing up sooo fast :( but he is a smarttt cookie, he seems to like that math portion a lot!

You can do it Michael! Casey does he want to come talk to Micah about math? I can't get Micah to do math related lessons for ANYTHING.

Sure! I think he will like that, he seems to reallly love math, and maybe kid to kid interaction will encourage micah?
