usually there is a "draft day" where we can do it online. you basically pick your players you would like and some alternates b/c more than likely someone else will pick your players as well. Typically your name is drawn randomly and then that's how the order of picks are chosen. Clears as mud? :lol:lol

Exactly Meg. I have to do research with DH for our "serious" league. This one is free and just for fun. Plus trying to get all of us together at the same time to pick our own players is just unimaginable. :lol

So yes, the computer will pick our own players. But trust me, you get good players. You can swap them out as well and trade, etc. it's easy and fun.

You will still have to do some research on your players each week if you want to get a little serious.

They shouldn't. Only the two involved in the trade (and Jamie) should have say.

Krysta, it's mostly just there as a fail-safe if people start colluding and making unfair trades. For example, sometimes late in the season, one person realizes that their team isn't going to make the playoffs and decides to just dump all their good players and give them to a friend. ;)

I don't think you should close trades! It's part of what makes it fun! :)
I think picking up players off waivers is actually less fair because it all depends on who happens to be on when they get dropped. And a lot of the best players are on the 'can't cut' list.

Also, the whole "rejecting trades" thing isn't a big deal. Usually, at least 2-3 people need to reject it, and even then I think it's still up to the commish to decide. ;)

It lists everything everyone has done Java, so you can see who everyone dropped. Once they are dropped they show up on the roster to choose from to pick up.

Holly, you want to be looking at the League Page. Then under the League tab up top you will see "Overview", "Messages", etc. and then a "Trading Block". Go there. You can trade players with another team there.

Ive been wathcing everyones matchups... alot of you ladies have spots with no players in them! SERIOSLY THERE ARE A TON OF EXTRA PLAYERS just go add what you need its better than an empty spot!!! :)
