What do you use to clean your children's toys? I've used baby wipes in the past. :dunno Then I thought of using vinegar, but it seemed to harsh. I just bought this spray and wipe all purpose cleaner from biokleen that says "natural and non-toxic" and on the back it says that you can just spray it onto your children's toys and wipe clean without rinsing.
The ingredients are: surfactants, wetting agents, and degreasers (from fruits and vegetables), orange oil, linear sulfonate, and water.
Does anyone know what would be meant by "surfactants" "wetting agents" and "linear sulfonate"? And would it be safe for my child to put something in their mouth that had simply been wiped down with these things?

Can't answer your question, but I use vinegar & have no issues. What do you mean by it being harsh? Are you worried about damage to the toy or the smell? I haven't had any issues w/damage & the smell goes away quickly.

I have always used the Clorox wipes, which dry fast. I've never had an issue with it being toxic.

I use to spray his with alcohol at nights, all evaporated by morning and all clean. Or i'd just soak a rag in alcohol and wipe everything down. easy, cheap and kills germs

i fill a bowl with dawn direct foam and hot hot water and let them soak for about 15 min then rinse and dry them. Cheap, painless and quick.

Yeah, I was worried that somehow the vinegar might damage the toy somehow. I guess that's kind of silly now that I think of it. It is, after all, stored in a plastic container. :blush
Do you guys just vacuum your child's stuffed toys or do you use other cleaning measures for them? (Assuming they're not machine washable.)

haha, it makes sense to me to have that concern though. I totally get it. I have a spray bottle that's somewhere between 1/2 & 1/3 vinegar, the rest water & I clean pretty much everything with that.
:bag Clean stuffed toys? huh? :lol

I put stuffed toys in the wash if they really need it or just wipe them down on occassion if they look okay. He sucks on a few of his stuffed toys and they get really grungy so even though they don't look great coming out of the dryer, I feel it is better than the alternative of not giving them a thorough wash.
