OK, we started on Thursday but just had fabulous progress today. Only one accident and three in the potty hoping for four.. hehe Even kept panties on at nap time. So my question is... should I go ahead and put panties on her for tonight too? Or wait til we get day time totally down. Could use some quick advice. She is almost three but wasn't sure. She won't have drank two hours before going down.

Does she wake up dry normally?

:yeah

Personally, I would not. I would focus on the day time stuff. I will not attempt night time with Sevi till she wakes up several weeks dry.

James was potty trained in one day(told him let's do it and he did w/out any accidents), he was 2 years 4 months. He did not sleep w/out a diaper until he was 3. I just was not up for changing sheets. At about three he said he didn't need a diaper so we went with it and he has been dry ever since(only 1 accident).

Thanks ladies.. I put her in a diaper. I got way too nervous. But no she hasn't been waking up dry. Yeah I think I should get this day thing under control, just wasn't sure. Totally appreciate the quick feedback you ladies are awesome!

After about a month of my son waking up dry every morning and wasting diaper/pull ups, i went for underwear at night. I'd give her some time and see if she is consistent at night. Kids sleep so soundly that sometimes it takes up to age 6 or older to stay dry consistently at night. really depends on the child

:yeah to everyone else.

My big concern was daytime, both ways. Night is harder to control and a lot of kids have trouble holding it for 8+ hours. We used pullups for night for a long time after she was potty trained, she was a night pee-er for quite awhile.
