I went to dinner tonight and I wore these slip on sandals...the kind that only fit around the ball of your foot. We went to a local cajun/seafood restaurant and I had beans and rice with andoullie sausage. I guess the whole time during dinner I didn't have my right foot all the way in my shoe?? Anyway, we got up to leave and I cannot get my right shoe on. I keep thinking my shoe is all twisted...I had someone look at it (because I cannot bend down like that) and its totally fine. It's MY FOOT that is the problem....it's SWOLLEN :lol. I had to drive home barefoot :lol. It's making me laugh..but I worry..I'm not even 28 wks yet...will be on Sunday. I am already dealing with this? I guess I need to watch my salt/sodium intake. One of the girls I was with said the sausage was probably the culprit. Geeeeeeeez. I can't wait to tell James...he will get a good laugh.

One cool thing..I left with two kids and came home with zero! They are both spending the night somewhere..and DH is still OOT. What to do..what to do...

Wow, I'm 28 weeks Sunday too!!!
I have mild swelling, but nothing major. My rings aren't comfy anymore and if I'm out walking around I need to put my feet up. But with the heat and humidty out here, and I'm sure you have it worse out there (humidity that is) that could be the problem too.

when my feet swelled toward the end of my pregnancy with tommy, the only shoes I wore were these backless tennis shoes that I bought from Payless in a larger size than my normal shoes...and after I had Tommy..I tossed them :)
