We've pulled those out. HTH simplyme 06-28-2007 Thursday, 11:21 PM The second and third definitely look like weeds that I've pulled before. As a child we use to run our hands from the bottom of number 2 all the way up to the top, pull off all the green stuff and smell our hands, yep really crazy. But they grew out in a field so I'm gonna say all weeds. Monette 06-29-2007 Friday, 08:35 AM The second one looks like licorice but it has no smell. Sara&Evan 07-09-2007 Monday, 03:11 PM That first one might be coneflower. Looks like the one I have...are any flower buds showing? Susannah 07-09-2007 Monday, 03:46 PM The last one looks like ragweed to me: http://uvalde.tamu.edu/herbarium/final/amar_lf.jpg Susannah 07-09-2007 Monday, 04:26 PM Maybe the second one is a type of dill? Does licorice have much of a smell on its leaves? I thought it was just the root that is used. TeriMomOf4 07-09-2007 Monday, 04:31 PM The second one may be bachelor buttons. My dill has small feathery flowers and almost no leaves. smiln32 08-03-2007 Friday, 04:39 PM Pretty sure all three are weeds. Big question is "Did you plant any seeds?" If not, the birds probably planted them for you or they are weed seeds. ~Carla Hayley 08-04-2007 Saturday, 12:39 PM The 1st one is a weed, it grows all over my gardens, and I have to pull them alot. They don't have any pretty flowers or anything. the 2 and 3 are as well, but I don't know the names of anything. |
