I hired a realtor almost a month ago....She was acted so interested in selling my house and getting it sold...so I hired her...well it is showing less than when I was doing it myself....I'm not sure what to do? I don't feel as if she is really trying to get it sold..hasn't done an open house yet etc...she knows we are in a hurry and she only has 4 houses listed so I know she isn't too busy...what would you say to her?

Give her some dates for the open house and tell her you expect to have the house shown each week.

I'd definitly mention the open house idea. Some realtors don't like to do them because it gives neighbors or just nosy people in general a chance to come in and look at all your stuff. But, if YOU want one, then she should do it.
As for the showings, she doesn't have any control over how many people come and see it. It's a common misconception that realtors can MAKE a house show. If no one is interested in it, then no one calls on it, either through their own agents or off the sign in your yard.

Tell her you expect more, that this is the selling season so if isn't committed as much as you are you can get a new one. Real estate is a service industry, you are the customer and it doesn't seem like you are being unrealistic. house selling is too much stress to also have to deal with a slow poke.
