Strawberries are a high allergy food, so it's recommended to wait until they're older. Super Baby Foods by Ruth Yaron is a good resource. I wouldn't consider them "unsafe" like honey, though. Also, they are really hard to clean all the pesticides and such from, so it's really best to go organic. |
