My Uncle Forest died last night due to age. He was 95 years old and from problems he was having he passed late last night. He lived in Grandbury and I didnt see him too often but I remember him so well. The one thing that sticks out in my mind is at my grandfather funeral (this is his brother) I went to hug my uncle forest and it freaked me out. The both look identical and they both had this lump on their shoulders it was like hugging my grandfather. I am really going to miss him this is really sad for me right now. His wife my aunt Winnie is still alive but she is so sick she doesnt know what is going on. I feel bad for her as well. My Uncle is in heaven now with no pain. He will be truely missed.

I know what you mean about the family resemblance. At my grandmother's funeral I saw my uncle and it took my breath away because I was looking at my dad who had passed a few years earlier. They even sounded alike. Same hands too. It was hard.

So sorry for your loss. What a long to life though. I can only imagine what it was like for him to see all the changes that have happened in the world.

Thanks all I am doing ok I went thru some of his cards he sent me in the past and he will be greatly missed. I know he is in a better place now with no pain and he gets to be with my grandfather his brother after 20 years of my grandfather being gone.

Wow, 95 years old....that's a good long life. But still so sad. I will be praying for your family...
