Real Christmas Wreaths (the care of)

I so wanted to buy one of the real Christmas wreaths at Whole Foods today. They smelled so good. But, I'm wondering ~ how do you keep them alive for so many weeks? I saw one of the people that worked at WF watering them (with a hose). Of course you can't do that in your house, lol. Would you mist it with a water bottle? How long do they tend to last? Do I wait till closer to Christmas or get one now?

I love those! How much are they?
We used to buy them when we lived in NY and they did OK for a few weeks. I used to just mist it with a spray bottle.

They usually last for awhile. I'd mist it.

The 20 inch were $12.99 and I can't remember what the 24 inch ones were priced at.

We get them every year and never do anything to them. I usually get one for the front door the first of December and one for a center piece on the dining room table mid month. Mine have never gotten too dry or anything, even with no attention.

I would love to get one. Do you usually just hang it up plain or do you add anything to it?

Thank you Angie. That is a decent price.
Does anyone buy real trees? Do you know a good place to buy fragrant ones? I didn't like the ones they have at Kroger.

I am going to WF today to get a cake for my Mom's bday. I may just have to pick a wreath up since they sound low maintenance. Thanks for the tips! :thumbup

We bought a noble fir at Sandones yesterday. We love it and it has a great fragrance. D Magazine ran an article on the owner in the last month or two. This guy really knows trees and it shows if you go to his lot. The lot is off of NW Highway, at Abrams intersection.
