Faith has slept 7 hours straight for the past 4 nights. I feel somewhat like a normal human being again. I had forgotten what it was like to sleep for more than 3 hours at a time.

how old is faith? stella's birthday is the 16th of this month. and she still hasn't slept through the night. my other 2 kids were sleeping through the night the first week i brought them home. i would wake up in the morning scared that they had been kidnapped or starved or died in their sleep because i hadn't heard from them in so long. that's great for you - i would kill for 7 hours in a row!

That's great. James still nurses through the whole night, but since we co-sleep I have never felt sleep deprived.

Faith is 11 weeks old. She has progressed from 3 hours at a time the first 3 weeks, then 4-5 hours at a stretch for weeks 4 through 10, and then this week 7 - 7 1/2 hours at night. She stays awake most of the day with a few cat naps and one 2 hour nap in the early afternoon.

I say totally enjoy it because once they start getting more mobile sometimes they stop sleeping through the night, My first did this. I call it a tease. Around 6 months it goes right out the window. Christopher is one and has yet to sleep through the night, I am lucky to get 3 hours of straight sleep! Sigh, one day he will, one day.....

WTG on your baby! Maybe she stay sleeping through the night! It's much easier to be a good mommy when you are well rested.

So true!! Ethan slept 7 hours a night at six weeks old, and it ALL went out the window when he was about 5 1/2 months old. He was waking up three times a night again. Just expect, with the growth spurts that she might start waking up again at night. Never get too comfortable with the stage they are at, because they will change sleeping/eating patterns every few months (just as soon as you get comfortable with the routine LOL!)

Enjoy it while you can!
