ukqueen 10-09-2004 Saturday, 09:57 AM Ok ladies.. what do you think?
I can't believe that little Miguel has grown up so. One minute he is in passions chasing after some angel weird chick, now he's all built and playing grown up games. tee hee
texasamy 10-10-2004 Sunday, 07:44 PM I didn't see it, but I'll watch tonight.
Melissa 10-10-2004 Sunday, 09:22 PM I like that show....I think it is a scream!!!
angie 10-10-2004 Sunday, 10:49 PM I've watched both episodes now. I'm interested, but not sure for how long. I wonder if the woman who killed herself is going to talk through every show.
laurachelle 10-10-2004 Sunday, 11:00 PM Definitely my new favorite show!! I loved the part with the mom and the police man, and when she left her kids on the side of the road. Hilarious!
Mommypresh 10-10-2004 Sunday, 11:21 PM My Mil was telling me how cool this show was and i have to agree, ive already programed my tivo son i never miss another show.
Two thumbs up
Shana
Cara 10-10-2004 Sunday, 11:37 PM I will admit that I am addicted already...DH is not too thrilled with it. He prefers Boston Legal. I thought it was so funny when she put her kids on the corner...serves those little buggers right! haha
Umm and I freaked when I saw Miguel as the gardener/other man. Wow, he looks all grown up and that body...wow!
ukqueen 10-11-2004 Monday, 08:59 PM I have tivo'd it too. LOL. Those kids really gave it to that lady though. I was laughing so hard when they pushed her over. TERRIBLE. How long do you think it will take for gaby's husband to find out?
ukqueen 11-07-2004 Sunday, 09:24 PM ok ladies.. WHAT IS THE SECRET... let me know what you guys think it is. I thought that she had an abortion, Zack found out but she lied to the husbnd and said it was a miscarriage...
Cara 11-07-2004 Sunday, 09:28 PM Can someone spoil it for me? I missed tonight's episode and will not be able to catch it on Saturday.
laurachelle 11-07-2004 Sunday, 09:50 PM I think they had a daughter that the son killed. I also think Rex is really gay.
ukqueen 11-07-2004 Sunday, 10:40 PM After tonight's episode when she was really going at him, I thought that too. Rex is gay. Cos he isn't cheating with a woman. I am surprised he is willing to go to the marriage counsellor at all though. My husband thinks the sane thing you do Laura. I was just thinking that there has to be a twist to it.
Petunia 11-08-2004 Monday, 08:01 AM My first guess was that he's gay as well...and that the older kid killed his baby sister..OR that the dad did it and blamed it on the son.
I'm so mad that we have to wait two weeks to watch it again!:crap
Karina
Krysta 11-08-2004 Monday, 08:47 AM I think they had a daughter that the son killed. I also think Rex is really gay.
ditto
angie 11-08-2004 Monday, 12:25 PM My husband thinks the sane thing you do Laura. I was just thinking that there has to be a twist to it.
Me too!! There has to be some kind of twist, because if we can guess the answer so easily (he is gay), than that was no fun :) I hope there is a twist or something. I do like the show though. It is one of the only series I watch besides reality t.v. LOL
jessjillbolyer 11-08-2004 Monday, 02:02 PM I too love the show!! Brian and me both love it. He says he likes it because there are hot girls on it. I say whatever as long as I get to watch it I am happy!! I love it!! I hate that we have to wait a whole 2 weeks to see it again. :crap
Coletteh 11-09-2004 Tuesday, 02:13 PM I think the kid's mom or dad did something to the sister but made the kid think he did it. I don't think Rex is gay. He seemed pretty excited when she showed up to his hotel. Also, the turn off was that she was worried about the food falling. I think he just has some kinky need or has the Madonna/Whore syndrom.
Just curious what you all think will end up happening with Gaby? My husband and I were talking about all the characters' flaws are pretty harmless except her's. The fact that she would go through so much to continue an affair doens't make her endearing. My favorite character is definitely the mother of the twins, Lynette.
angie 11-09-2004 Tuesday, 02:40 PM Colette,
I was wondering about the Gaby storyline as well. The only thing that I can think of that would *semi* cancel out her affair is that if the husband was having one too, or had one in the past. Then, maybe they could work it out. But, he seems like he can't keep a hold on his anger though - can't believe he has (so far) gotten away with beating up the gay guy without having proof that Gaby slept with him.
ukqueen 11-09-2004 Tuesday, 02:41 PM Is it me or didn't Lynette have 3 kids to begin with? and now all of a sudden there is just two.
Coletteh 11-09-2004 Tuesday, 03:23 PM Is it me or didn't Lynette have 3 kids to begin with? and now all of a sudden there is just two.
I thought she had 3 too! Last night I kept wondering if I imagined the 3rd. Humm, wierd that one just dissapered. Glad to hear I'm not insane (or at least not alone in my insanity).
angie 11-09-2004 Tuesday, 05:10 PM She actually has FOUR kids. A baby (girl I think) and another little boy. Now that you have mentioend it, I have't seen the baby or other boy in awhile, just the twins. Strange!
ukqueen 11-11-2004 Thursday, 08:59 PM interesting. maybe they will show up again one of these days. I am so mad it's not coming on this sunday.
ukqueen 11-21-2004 Sunday, 10:54 PM ok. She had an affair with Mikes boss and got pregnant. Her family found out about it, Edy was also having an affair with him. She aborted the baby and Edy threatened her.
Krysta 11-22-2004 Monday, 12:09 AM ok. She had an affair with Mikes boss and got pregnant. Her family found out about it, Edy was also having an affair with him. She aborted the baby and Edy threatened her.
Is this just a guess, or do you know something we don't?
I am positive that sometihing happened to the baby, someting quite ugly. I don't hink it was an abortion because a) there was a blanket and a name for the baby, and b) Remember when Mary Alice's dh was diggin up the swimming pool, and they alluded to it having been done before?
Now we just have to figure out how Edy plays into the equation.
Man I love this show!
The Cook 11-22-2004 Monday, 08:04 AM My question is how did the other ladies not know about the baby. They must have been the first to move into to the neighborhood if the other ladies including the old lady doesn't know about the baby. Do you guys think Mike's story line falls into line with the baby story line. They are looking for the girls Sister...could the lady that killed herself be the ladies sister since she used to have a different name. I think the two story lines tie together. Oh and I can't believe Rex is buying his kids off and then doesn't want them to live with him. They didn't take the storyline two far with the sex therapist so I'm really getting the idea that Rex is gay and doesn't want his kids around to know the truth. What are your thoughts?
ukqueen 11-22-2004 Monday, 10:24 AM Maybe she was getting used to the idea of being pregnant and wanted to make her something nice. She couldn't have had the baby becasue she was a tiny woman and they would have seen her bump... hmmm.. It's funny becasue I hope there is a twist but I will laugh at myself thinking of all these complicated story lines but it ends up being something real simple. Can you believe Bree and Rex covering up for David like that? Wow.
brooksy 11-22-2004 Monday, 12:46 PM Angie I am the same way. I watch all reality tv ( I can't help it I'm addicted). This is one of the only shows I watch. I LOVE it. I know so many "desperate housewives" myself....cheaters...pill poppers....it's sad how true that show can be.
ukqueen 11-23-2004 Tuesday, 08:35 PM I don't think the son ) I gforget his name) Pauls son has anything to do with it. I think they threw that in there to ran us off the track so to speak.
The Cook 11-24-2004 Wednesday, 07:57 AM I have heard that we should not assume Dana is a baby. So hmmm, this could be interesting.
ukqueen 11-24-2004 Wednesday, 10:11 AM hmmmmmmmmmmm....I don't don't know what the small chest of human remains is.
jennshansha 11-24-2004 Wednesday, 11:02 AM http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6542185/site/newsweek/?ng

jennshansha 11-24-2004 Wednesday, 11:07 AM heard that the link was suppose to have good info, not much there though..But check out what the future episodes are titled
ukqueen 11-25-2004 Thursday, 11:25 AM what was the big fiasco with the commercial they did. I totally missed it.
Julia 11-26-2004 Friday, 09:58 AM Love this show! Me and the hubby are hooked......missed the hoopla over the NFL thing (not a sports fan)
I do feel there aren't a lot of things on at 7-8 that are appropriate for my kids to watch. I have to PVR everything and watch at night. Only thing my kids watch with me are Amazing Race and American Idol. Lauren is 5 and asking a LOT of questions about everything :)
ukqueen 11-26-2004 Friday, 04:09 PM Apparenty Heather Locklear turned down one of the roles.
Nicole 11-26-2004 Friday, 04:46 PM I love this show! We TiVo it so we can watch it when the girls are in bed. :)
Petunia 11-28-2004 Sunday, 11:53 PM Wow- tonight's episode was GREAT!!!!
I thought the scene where the mom of four goes crazy was really something...I almost wanted to cry!! Knowing how stressfull motherhood can be...I had never seen it showed like that on TV and after she says..we need to share these little things more with each other...I thought VERY TRUE, I've often felt..HOW DOES So and SO DO IT? :blush
Great show...however, I'm PO'd that we have to wait two weeks AGAIN! Grrrrr
ukqueen 11-29-2004 Monday, 12:00 AM Yeah I totally agree with you Karina. It is such a funny and quirky show that you really appreciate the serious issues they have on there. I really felt her pain, I mean she was totally loosing it and I just wanted to hold her. And it is so true. It is so important for people to talk about things like that. I am so graeful for this board for that. But yeah it was so firey. Paul really went wild didn't he?
Krysta 11-29-2004 Monday, 01:17 AM Well, I didn't almost cry when Lynette was crying.
I cried right a long with her. I identify with her character SO much, just the stress, and the trying so hard, wondering if I measure up. It is so true that we need to share the downside of motherhood more. Especially to new moms, who think it's gonna be all sunshine and rainbows. When the hard stuff hits you out of the blue, it is very traumatic!
I am so glad that none of the main 4 were killed off, that would have been awful.
Is it really gonna be 2 more weeks!?! Why do they keep doing this to us?
Nicole 11-29-2004 Monday, 05:51 AM I cried right along with Lynnette too. My husband reached over and held my hand during that part, knowing that I would relate to how she was feeling. We DO need to share how hard it is sometimes. I had an easy time adjusting to one baby, but adjusting to two was a total shock to me. I felt/feel like such a failure, feeling like I should have it all together by now. I thought that was a powerful scene, and I was happy to see it on TV.
Julia 11-29-2004 Monday, 07:43 AM Wow! That was insightful. I've totally felt like that screaming episode (internally). And I have to admit there have been a few times I've put myself in Time-Out and locked the door for a few minutes so I could breathe.
Did you see the episode where her husband tries to get amourous and she says she needs her birthcontrol and he says "let's risk it" so she decks him and says "no way, get off me!". ROFL
It is hard transitioning from one to two, but you MADE IT Nicole!! I bet now you can't imagine any other way! :) Now give yourself a big pat on the back
........and do we ever really have it ALL together? I figure that's the fun part - trying to get it all together, as long as you take time to laugh.
Coletteh 11-29-2004 Monday, 07:46 AM Wow- tonight's episode was GREAT!!!!
Grrrrr
My husband asked me how I felt about her "running away" like that. I told him that if she was on the verge of killing herself or hurting her children it was the right thing to do. He said he thought she handled it poorly and should have stayed to deal with the situation. His biggest complaint is that she never seems to discipline the children. I told him, maybe by the time you get to four, disciplining them seems overwhelming and you just need to leave for a few minutes. Anyway, my dh was one of 3 boys and by the end of the conversation he addmitted his mom use to do that all the time to them. He didn't go into why it was so upsetting to him for her to "run away". I still think she did the right thing. If it is that bad, take a step back!
Petunia 11-29-2004 Monday, 07:57 AM I TOTALLy agree with you C, I think sometimes letting someone else help you and just removing yourself from the situation IS the best way to go. She knew that at that point she was probably more dangerous/scary to her kids than anything else.
brooksy 11-29-2004 Monday, 08:48 AM Can anyone give me a brief update on what happened yesterday? I cannot believe I missed it!!!!
Krysta 11-30-2004 Tuesday, 11:10 AM Okay, just because I love Christine. I wouldn't do this much typing for just anybody!:
Lynette had a daydream of having a breakdown, and killing herself. She basically threw her kids at Susan and said "you have to take them, I can't do it anymore." Susan and Bree tracked her down, and they had this awesome convo about how none of us is the perfect mother. We all have moments where we need to cry.
Gabrielle is not at all sorry about her MIL or her affair. She told their priest that she would repent later, like when she was 70.
Bree's son is also not sorry for running over G's mil. He said "she's an old woman, I have my whole life ahead of me."
Susan found a bunch of money and a gun at that guys house, the one she's dating. He caught her snooping and told her they were through. At the end of the show he knocks on her door and they have a wild night of adult activity!
Mary Alice's dh kills that older neighbor. He went to talk to her about the stationary that "the note" was on, and she said that MA was in hell for abandoning her chil (suicide) and for what she did to that poor baby. (Dana)
:upthumb So, there you have it. Next time just watch the show! It's much better than my interpretation. If I left anything out, everyone feel free to add details.
ukqueen 11-30-2004 Tuesday, 11:15 AM The repeat comes on Saturday, so you can look out for it.. It was a very powerful episode.. Oh John told Gabrielle that they are through and he is going to continue dating Danielle. Oh and Bree and Rex took Andrews car to a poor neighborhood so that someone could steal it.. That way no one can say they ever had it. It was Bree's idea believe it or not.. well I think that about sums it up.
Krysta 11-30-2004 Tuesday, 11:25 AM AND Gabrielle's husband told Bree and her family that he and Gabrielle are starting a family soon. Gabrielle was a little ticked off about that. She said they had a "no children" deal from the start.
I think that's it, lol!
ukqueen 11-30-2004 Tuesday, 11:38 AM Oh yeah.. she said "we made a deal" He said "deals are meant to be negotiated" she said. "well we are not megotiating my uterus". I laughed so hard when she said that.
Coletteh 11-30-2004 Tuesday, 12:01 PM I'm confused about one thing. My husband and I were talking so I missed this. Who did John tell about the affair? At first I thought it was the husband, but he kissed her on the forehead at the end of the show.
Petunia 11-30-2004 Tuesday, 12:08 PM He went to confession. :)
brooksy 11-30-2004 Tuesday, 12:09 PM sweet....thanks for the update...i promise this sunday i will watch it for myself....
brooksy 11-30-2004 Tuesday, 12:11 PM what time does it come on saturday???
ukqueen 12-02-2004 Thursday, 12:46 AM hmmm, can't remember.. possibly 8pm. Go to ABC.com and check there.
jennshansha 12-02-2004 Thursday, 11:10 AM 8 pm
QueenMarsha 12-02-2004 Thursday, 02:06 PM oh my goodness i love love this show! i can't wait to see what happens next!
ukqueen 12-10-2004 Friday, 12:03 AM I saw the previews.. omg it is really racey... I am definitely going to have to buy the season on DVD when it comes out.
ukqueen 12-14-2004 Tuesday, 09:06 AM I don't know about you guys but I don't think the boy killed Dana
angie 12-14-2004 Tuesday, 09:07 AM I missed a bunch of it this week, because I was watching survivor. I really need tivo :) But, anyhow..it still repeats on Saturday nights, right?
ukqueen 12-14-2004 Tuesday, 09:13 AM uh huh
Krysta 12-14-2004 Tuesday, 09:59 AM I don't think the boy killed the baby, either. I think that his 4yo self misunderstood what happened.
Who the heck was in the trunk? Any ideas? And why was Gabrielle's husband arrested? Are these 2 things related?
Julia 12-14-2004 Tuesday, 10:22 AM WOW! This is getting deep........who is in that trunk? It's not a baby........it looked like there was a small skull in the trunk with the large skull. Was it someone that was pregnant? I'm so confused!
I'm thinking Gabrielles hubby was arrested for money laundering or mafioso business (it was FBI that came with the police to question him)......he's going to be stripped of everything..........but I could be Waaay off.
I agree, I think that Jr. is confused about what happened and WHO Dana is........and so am I! Hmmmmm.
Nicole 12-14-2004 Tuesday, 10:42 AM I've read somewhere that we shouldn't assume that Dana is a baby. So, maybe Dana is in the trunk?
I agree- I think the boy is confused about his role in Dana's death. I don't think he killed her.
I must say I was glad they finally dealt with the fact that lawn boy (John?) is underage, at least in some small way.
Why can't I remember their names yet? :confused
Krysta 12-14-2004 Tuesday, 10:55 AM Don't feel bad, Nicole. I can't remember all the names either! Lol!
Dana may not be a baby, huh? I'll have to think about that!
Man, I love this show!!
ukqueen 12-14-2004 Tuesday, 11:17 AM Yeah Gabrielle's husband is mafioso.. I do believe that anyways.. I don't think it is connected with the killing of or death of Dana and M.A But that would be an interesting twist. I don't think Paul is at all interested in this one bit. There is more to him than just grief and not knowing how to deal. The one that got killed off the other weeak said something about "It's a shame what MA did to that poor baby (or child) Leaving her motherless' If my memory serves me well. So I think Dana is still a baby.. If not then maybe she was a child with some sort of disability they were hiding her from the rest of the world.. hmmm.. I am really enjoying this. As for the Mike guy.. I think that's his name. The plumber. I think he has something to do with MA secret.
jennshansha 12-14-2004 Tuesday, 11:20 AM next Desperate Housewives, Dec. 19th: "Come Back to Me"
Maisy Gibbons' (Sharon Lawrence) secret life intersects with Bree's;
Gabrielle's predicament worsens;
Susan plans to take her relationship with Mike to the next level;
Lynette is suspicious of her new nanny (Marla Sokoloff).
Who is Maisy Gibbons
ukqueen 12-14-2004 Tuesday, 11:25 AM is she the one Paul killed?
Nicole 12-14-2004 Tuesday, 11:40 AM is she the one Paul killed?
No, that was Mrs. Huber. I don't know who Maisy is? Is she one of the women from the school where her kids go? The snobby, bossy one?
ukqueen 12-14-2004 Tuesday, 11:41 AM Oh ok.. hmm.. maybe she is John's mother? ok I am going on ABC to find out
Nicole 12-14-2004 Tuesday, 11:46 AM Okay, she is the control freak from the school- the one in charge of the Christmas program. She's played by Sharon Lawrence.
ukqueen 12-14-2004 Tuesday, 11:52 AM hmmmm... I am officially a DHW junkie
angie 12-14-2004 Tuesday, 12:04 PM Okay, she is the control freak from the school- the one in charge of the Christmas program. She's played by Sharon Lawrence.
RIGHT!! I was thinking of the actress from NYPDblue when I read Sharon Lawrence, and I was correct :) Hmmmm..her secret life, what could it be, LOL
Julia 12-14-2004 Tuesday, 01:19 PM Maybe it's an affair with Bree's dh......he seems like he is already "detached". KWIM?
ukqueen 12-14-2004 Tuesday, 01:26 PM Yes he really is detached.. Hmmm.. you know what? I think you are right. Cos in the previews she made a comment about him and other women... Good thinking Julia. Ok.. That's one solved.. 10 more to go.. LOL
laurachelle 12-14-2004 Tuesday, 03:08 PM Grr! I'm so pissed. I've missed the past 2 episodes. I'll have to catch this last one on Sat. I need Tivo so bad!!
Coletteh 12-14-2004 Tuesday, 08:34 PM Desperate Times Call for Desperate Housewives
We Americans are not strangers to hardship. We have endured economic woes, enmity between the states, and protracted campaigns in foreign lands. We have survived imperialist wars; we have survived unexpected attacks; we have seen countless lives wasted. Since America declared its independence, each successive generation has met a unique and unexpected challenge, but ours is the first to face the worst hardships of many generations in legion. Fellow citizens, we are living in desperate times, and desperate times call for Desperate Housewives.
Each morning, our newspapers bring reports of chaos in the Mideast, violence in our schools, and a leadership in disarray. Our televisions, once cynosures for placid reflection, are now given to reports of violence and injustice. Maintaining our purity of heart while staring into the widening chasm of world events is a task for which many of us feel ill-equipped. In times like these, we must fix our gaze upon Wisteria Lane. For, as everyone here at ABC can assure you, there is nothing wrong with America that cannot be cured by what is right with Desperate Housewives.
On the surface, our nation is sharply divided between the red states and the blue. But look deeper, tune in, and watch as Bree Van De Kamp bonds unexpectedly with Mary Alice's troubled son Zach. At the heart of our great nation is a friendship between Bree and Zach. And so watch Desperate Housewives, and find out what lies buried beneath Mary Alice's pool. When you do, I promise that it will be every bit as emotionally satisfying as the revelation that Mrs. Huber wrote the mysterious note that Mary Alice received before her untimely death.
Questions... Doubts... Will single-mom Susan find new love with Mike Delfino? What sort of "plumber" is Mike, anyway? And what of Lynette, who has deferred her dreams of corporate success? What of the lawnboy, who takes his affair with Gabrielle to heart? Friends, dare to leave conundrums unsolved, unsimplified. For Desperate Housewives, like America's participatory democracy, is always changing, infinite in its varietysometimes turbulentand all the more valuable for having had its shocking conclusion shaped by focus groups from multiple demographics. Stay tuned! This week's episode is a doozy.
Yes, allow chaos. Allow mystery. For our nation was not shaped by short, 30-minute outbursts of emotion, but by the tranquil and steady dedication of Rex Van De Kamp, who agreed to seek counseling to rectify his marriage with Bree. Tune in, America.
For, without the collective efforts of many, we Americans will find ourselves doing much worse than burning down our neighbors' houses, taking our childrens' medication, and almost bringing down the entire NFL through our lascivious pre-game locker-room seduction of Terrell Owens.
To paraphrase George Santayana: A man's feet must be planted in his country, but his eyes should follow ABC's Sunday primetime line-up, with Extreme Makeover at 8:00 p.m. EST, Desperate Housewives at 9:00 p.m. EST, and liberty and justice for all.
Krysta 12-15-2004 Wednesday, 09:57 AM Bravo!
ukqueen 12-19-2004 Sunday, 09:15 PM OH NO... why did Gabrielle burn his passport and keeps the papers?
QueenMarsha 12-19-2004 Sunday, 10:59 PM i am assuming she will use it as blackman.. for something like that..
maisy is the women that rex is sleeping with.. i just loved brie's lil speach to him in the hospital.. MWAH!
and lynetts lil nanny cam is great! lol
Krysta 12-19-2004 Sunday, 11:08 PM Tonight was good, but not as juicy as usual. After the Maisy thing was let out of the bag right away- nothing terribly exciting happened.
I don't know what Gabrielle's problem is. All of the sudden she has a conscience? I'll bet she's got some dirty plan!
Astreia 12-19-2004 Sunday, 11:09 PM Tonight was the first entire episode I've ever seen. It was good!
Marsha- what does MWAH mean? :)
angie 12-19-2004 Sunday, 11:12 PM DARN!! I missed tonight's show :( But for good reason. My lil girls were singing in the Cherub Choir at my IL's church tonight. PLEASE tell me they will show this again next Saturday. I'm hoping they don't replace it with something else because it is Christmas day!
Julia 12-20-2004 Monday, 08:18 AM I'm not sure about Gabrielle........she may do one of two things here. One she maybe angry that her dh lied. She may leave him there and give the papers to the feds.
What I'm thinking she is going to do is keep her hubby safe in jail while SHE goes after Nakamora with those papers........maybe she will make a copy of the papers for later use. Hmmmmm..........what is IN those papers???? Remember back in the first couple episodes Gabrielle complained that Nakamora always grabbed her A$$.....and her hubby said "he pays our bills, so let him". She may use her appeal to Nakamora.
MAN was Brie angry or what?! WOW! I can imagine I'd probably have reacted the same way.
I had to laugh at Lynette's insecurity........I used to feel that way when Nannie (my mom) came around. But I got over it. Now I see it as my opportunity to get lost and go get my hair done. Hopefully some day I'll get my day as "the Nannie - Good Cop".
ukqueen 12-20-2004 Monday, 09:01 AM Brie was absolutely wonderful. We were sitting there and my DH was disgusted thinking she was going to take him back. She played it off so well. Then she got all in his face and dh and I were so happy and excited... He loves it when women come strong. It was great. As for Gab.. I think so too. She wants Carlos out of the way cos she is going to send Nakamora down.. She is going to use her sex appeal to get him caught.. I am sorry though. I truly didn't buy the story that she missed her husband.. I don't know I guess she isn't playing the doting wife hard enough.. I totally believe her character for everything else but I am just not buying the guilty wife thing..
Nicole 12-20-2004 Monday, 09:46 AM I'm surprised she missed him, too, Galena. They weren't exactly a loving couple, and their marriage seemed to be more a marriage of convenience than a true relationship. I'm sorry, but I'd have a hard time loving a man who allows someone to grab my *** all the time (not an issue, believe me ;)).
Jamie 12-20-2004 Monday, 10:06 AM I loved last nights episode. I was floored when Gab threw his passport in the fire. I want to say good for her, but she is guilty to. She was having an affair. I want to know what the plumber is up to. What is his story?
laurachelle 12-20-2004 Monday, 10:44 AM I loved Bree, that was awesome. Does anyone's else's DH love this show? Df likes it about as much as I do. I actually read the other day that this show has a higher male fan base than female. Interesting.
QueenMarsha 12-20-2004 Monday, 10:47 AM MWAH is like a evil laugh..
did Gab ever cut off the affair or did she just put it away for a bit? cuz she might use that time that dh is in the jail to be more naughty?
Nicole 12-20-2004 Monday, 11:03 AM John's mother found out, so she'd be stupid to pick up the affair again. Unless she wants to end up in jail herself.
Julia 12-20-2004 Monday, 11:10 AM I'm still waiting for the lawyers to contact her on Statutory rape charges..........
My dh LOVES this show as much as I do. He loves any show with witty writing. We are fans of Sex and the City and Six Feet Under as well. :)
angie 12-20-2004 Monday, 11:24 AM Does anyone's else's DH love this show?
My dh watches it with me :D
jennshansha 12-20-2004 Monday, 01:32 PM someone recap--i missed last night's episode :(

angie 12-20-2004 Monday, 01:50 PM next episode isn't until Jan 9th!!! bummer.
Jenn,
Do you know if they will repeat the last episode next Saturday though? I'm bummed I missed it :(
ukqueen 12-20-2004 Monday, 04:09 PM hmm lets see.. Susan finally found Paul's son hiding in her house and they made him go back home. Bree found out that Rex was cheating on her with that over zealous theatre coordinator.. come to find out she is a high priced whore, doing it with everyone in her home. So Rex has a heartattack with her and Bree goes to the hospital. She plays it so cool holding his hands and whispering stuff like, I wanted to tell you something and I was glad you didn't die.. Then she pretty much let him know that now that she knows, his life will not be worth living. But she wanted him to do know before he died. The FBI came to Gabriella's house to remove stuff that they thought would have been purchased illegally, so before they came around she moved everything into Bree's garage.
Carlos told Gab where his passport was along with some papers and instructed her t give the FBI his passport and burn the papers, but instead she burned the passport and kept the papers.
Am I missing anything? oh yeah.. Lynnette was in love with her new nanny but the kids loved her more and so she started feeling insecure cos the kids wanted the nanny and not her. So she got a hiden camera so that she could see what she was up to.
angie 12-20-2004 Monday, 04:25 PM It just gets better and better!! Thanks for the recap :D
ukqueen 12-20-2004 Monday, 04:33 PM any time :)
angie 01-10-2005 Monday, 11:51 AM I was SO glad that the show was back on last night. It is getting really good.
ambhi 01-11-2005 Tuesday, 10:16 AM Happy to see this thread here, esp if I miss a show!! I absolutely LOVE watching this show, and it keeps getting better and better!!!!!!!
Thanks UKQueen for the update on the show I missed before, it brought me up enough for me to understand what was going on for this last show!!!

Chandra 01-13-2005 Thursday, 08:53 AM http://www.televisionwithoutpity.com/show.cgi?show=142
Lisa 01-16-2005 Sunday, 08:29 PM Just wanted to see who is watching now!
Mommypresh 01-16-2005 Sunday, 10:15 PM Great night, this is the first episode my DH watched and hes hooked haha, now i just have to get him into lost and im set.
angie 01-16-2005 Sunday, 10:44 PM My dh watches with me too. I can NOT believe what G's husband did with the birthcontrol.
Mommypresh 01-16-2005 Sunday, 11:15 PM Yeah i know, im just itiching to see if shes going to get pregnant.
Lisa 01-16-2005 Sunday, 11:24 PM and by whom.......... one last fling with yard guy........
ukqueen 01-17-2005 Monday, 12:11 AM very good point Lisa. steamy episodes are ahead. YAY. I love it. That pharmacist guy cracked me up. I knew he wasn't altogether there. Bree better watch out. I am mad that she is slowly forgiving her husband though.. (no offense anyone) I like an angry woman.
on a real not though Eva long.. (?) is Gab right? she is 29 in real life. Who was she married too? She recently got a divorce and she is saying how happy she is and everything. She used to be on the young and the restless.
Lisa 01-17-2005 Monday, 04:52 PM And what about that hottie of a plumber..... he has already killed for his ex once?
Mommypresh 01-19-2005 Wednesday, 09:15 AM I was thinking what the dead women(plumbers wife) might be the human remains they found in the trunk?? anyone eles think that?
ukqueen 01-19-2005 Wednesday, 09:56 AM is it me or was his ex "Mary-Alice"?
juliema 01-19-2005 Wednesday, 10:16 AM woah.... that didn't click with me at all until you said it just now! I'm also curious to see "who" gets Gabby pregnant. :blush
is it me or was his ex "Mary-Alice"?
ukqueen 01-26-2005 Wednesday, 08:50 PM ok I think I cracked it. Lynette's husband had an affair with Mary Alice and that dead woman saw it and was black mailing her. Dana is in hiding from her rich father.. the plumbers boss. He had been manipulating her forever and so she ran away. I don't think she is a baby, but I think she is a woman who either had a baby (who's remains were in the coffin Paul threw in the river) or miscarried and it was the plumber's baby... what crazy thoughts do you guys have?
angie 01-31-2005 Monday, 10:40 AM Okay, I don't think I got the memo LOL that it was a repeat night last night and that it was on at a new time (9pm). Did I miss something? Was there no new show this week?
Coletteh 01-31-2005 Monday, 01:13 PM Last week they said there would be a new show in two weeks, I think. I just remember being annoyed that there wouldn't be a new show this week. As for the new time, I think it was just because of the Extreme Makeover Home Edition.
HTH

Thanks Colette :) I must have missed it when they said the next new show would be on in 2 weeks.
Dorothy 01-31-2005 Monday, 01:43 PM so they are gonna show one this week even with the super bowl???
angie 01-31-2005 Monday, 02:06 PM I just got this info off the abc website:
Saturday, Feb. 5 at 9/8c
"Suspicious Minds"
Looking to give her life a purpose, Gabrielle decides to organize a glamorous Halston fashion show for charity highlighting the ladies of Wisteria Lane. But Susan is less than charitable toward her friend when she discovers Gabrielle's shocking secret. Meanwhile, Lynette uses her business acumen to poach a nanny, and Bree decides to take Andrew's out-of-control behavior into her own hands.
Saturday, Feb. 5 at 10/9c
"Come Back to Me"
Uber mom Maisy Gibbons (guest star Sharon Lawrence) returns, and her secret life intersects with Bree's. Meanwhile Gabrielle's predicament worsens, Susan plans to take her relationship with Mike to the next level, and Lynette, suspicious (and a little jealous) of her new nanny (guest star Marla Sokoloff), decides to secretly videotape her.
Sunday, Feb. 6 at 10/9c
"Move On"
Edie organizes a neighborhood search for the missing Mrs. Huber, just as the absent busybody's sister (guest star Harriet Sansom Harris) arrives on Wisteria Lane. Meanwhile, Bree resigns herself to her marital state and asks an attractive pharmacist (Tony Award-winning actor Roger Bart) on a date; Susan's ex, Karl (guest star Richard Burgi), suddenly reappears in her life; Lynette fears that Tom is attracted to the new nanny (guest star Marla Sokoloff); and Gabrielle sinks to new depths - she gets a job.

Chelsea 02-01-2005 Tuesday, 08:08 AM Hello Ladies!
I just LOVE this show! Someone asked who Eva Longoria recently divorced...she was married to Tyler Christopher, who plays Nicholas/Conner on General Hospital. Lately, I think she has been reported to be dating around a lot. I definately think that the body in the trunk is Mike the Plumber's Ex-wife. But other than that, I am somewhat confused!! LOL! I wonder when they are going to air another new episode!!!
:D

Mommypresh 02-06-2005 Sunday, 09:12 PM Man i want to see a new episode, im tired of repeats
angie 02-13-2005 Sunday, 09:53 PM Tonights episode was really good. I don't want Mike to get arrested for something he didn't do though :(

angie 02-14-2005 Monday, 08:36 AM I am so appalled by some of the things in this show it just makes me want to watch it more. lol
LOL - they don't seem to by shy about introducing any and all situations. I love it.
ukqueen 02-14-2005 Monday, 09:26 AM Lynette cracked me up with the egg then she asked her husband if they coud move. Too hilarious. I love this show but I need them to hurry up with the nitty gritty stuff. What did Lynnette's husband do that she won't forgive? mabe he killed Dana. I WANT TO KNOW NOWWWWWWWWWWW... :)
TxSandMom 02-14-2005 Monday, 05:37 PM Okay, I missed the beginning... what happened to Mike?
If you want to post what happened, but you don't want to spoil it for others (even though it's already aired), you can post using the same color font and background (so it's not visible). Then, at the beginning of the post you say, "please highlight" or something like that and the readers just use their mouse to highlight and the words will be visible (hope I explained that right).
Jamie 02-14-2005 Monday, 07:31 PM Spoiler...highlight to read...
Mike was going to this house that he thought had info on the whereabouts to the woman he is looking for. They said they had no info and closed the door. So he broke in. An old man found him breaking in and shot him. He had some guy come to his house and "fix" him up. And then you saw what happened at the resteraunt?
TxSandMom 02-15-2005 Tuesday, 05:27 PM Yes, I saw what happened at the restaurant.
THANKS so much for the "spoiler!"
I think that Mike is looking for what happened to Angela... is that right?
Shanna 02-15-2005 Tuesday, 05:49 PM What did Lynnette's husband do that she won't forgive?
Did I miss this??? What happened?
TxSandMom 02-15-2005 Tuesday, 05:53 PM Mom2Max - He went to a dominatrix. Shame, shame! LOL
edit: Whoopsie... that was BREE's husband who went to a dominatrix. I dunno 'bout Lynette's. Well, I know NOW because it's in the post after this one. But I didn't know before when I originally posted this note.
angie 02-15-2005 Tuesday, 06:27 PM Mom2Max - He went to a dominatrix. Shame, shame! LOL
Was that Lynette's dh or Bree's dh? Now I'm confused, LOL
Jamie 02-15-2005 Tuesday, 07:03 PM Bree's husband went to a dominantrix.
Lynette's husband cheated on her a long time ago, but did he tell Lynette? I thought he only told his dad? I may have missed that.
TxSandMom 02-15-2005 Tuesday, 10:07 PM OH I missed that!!! Sorry... yes, it was BREE's husband who did the naughty naughty!!
Okay, I missed the episode about Lynette's father-in-law... didn't he come visit or something? Who can re-cap that one?
Shanna 02-15-2005 Tuesday, 11:04 PM Bree's husband went to a dominantrix.Ohhh.. ok.. I was wondering... :confused I thought I missed something. lol
Also, I guess I didn't see the part where Lynette's husband talked about the cheating he did in the past. shame shame on him!! Does she know???
angie 02-15-2005 Tuesday, 11:41 PM Bree's husband went to a dominantrix.
Lynette's husband cheated on her a long time ago, but did he tell Lynette? I thought he only told his dad? I may have missed that.
oh yeah, thats right. I bet they use that as a future plot line when other plots end or wind down.
Jamie 02-16-2005 Wednesday, 06:37 AM I went and looked around last night after I posted cause I thought maybe I had missed something. Supposedly they are going to use this down the line.
Let's recap real quick. Lynette found her FIL getting it on with a woman in her house. Not her MIL. So she kicked him out and told her husband to her surprise knew he had been cheating. So she got mad and got in a fight with him and kicked him out too. So her DH and her FIL were sitting on the curb talking when her DH confessed he has done something "much worse".
My theroy...possible spoiler...
You know he travels alot...so possibly a bygamist? Or maybe a child from another woman. A girl. lol
Lisa 02-27-2005 Sunday, 06:23 PM Is it on tonight? I can't find it on the tv guide!!!!! I hope I'm just blind.....
Lisa 02-27-2005 Sunday, 06:27 PM Stupid Oscars!!!!!!!!! :(
angie 02-27-2005 Sunday, 07:40 PM Stupid Oscars!!!!!!!!! :(
I totally forgot about the Oscars being on and rushed home to wash DH and realized it wasn't coming on :duh
laurachelle 02-27-2005 Sunday, 08:50 PM I wish it were on, but I love the Oscars. Btw, Renee Zelweger looks like a freakin' toothpick. You can almost hear her stomach eating itself. What is up with that?
angie 02-27-2005 Sunday, 09:15 PM I wish it were on, but I love the Oscars. Btw, Renee Zelweger looks like a freakin' toothpick. You can almost hear her stomach eating itself. What is up with that?
I was thinking the same thing. That red dress was so tight and tiny. Imagine what she really looks like ~ don't they say the camera puts on 10 pounds?
ukqueen 03-02-2005 Wednesday, 12:35 AM Oh my Jaime. Good theory. What about this though? Possible spoiler...
He is the real father of Dana? And either MA (MAry Alice) or Paul killed Dana and Mrs. Hubert saw it??
ukqueen 03-06-2005 Sunday, 08:10 PM oh my. Are they ever going to show another episode? all these delays are driving me nuts
Lisa 03-06-2005 Sunday, 08:41 PM 3/27 is the next episode :(
