State Fair

DH is taking Friday off and we are going to go check it out. We've never been before.

Anyone have any tips / things to see / things to avoid they'd like to share? We are not planning on staying all day, just a few hours, so I want to make the most of out time there.

Leo loves the dog show - flying K-9s or something like that. Also the toy train exhibit they had last year - don't know if they do that every year.

Rena's post reminds me - I saw some coupons to save on admission on the tray liner at McD's yesterday.

i LOVE the fair.
eat lots of fried food. the petting zoo is fun. take a ferris wheel ride. go look at the 2008 cars. i like to eat and people watch mostly.
