Yeah AnsLeigh

Well I just posted about how AnsLeigh is sick. But I do have some good news from Thursday. We took her to do a weight check. She's now 8 pounds!!! I'm so excited. Last week at her appointment she was 7 pounds 8 ounces and now she's 8 pounds. So excited. Things are going well. However, she's making this clicking sound when nursing. I've unlatched and relatched her often and I still hear it. I have no idea what to do about it...

Sometimes they make funny sounds. Are you sue its not her swallowing?
As long as they are peeing and pooing things are good. Sounds like she's eating really well:)

nora used to click, too. she's gaining weight. i wouldn't worry about it as long as she has good diapers. hooray on the weight gain - what a good mommy!

Yay Ansleigh! Yay even more for her mommy! Great Job!
If you start to get sore, or she doesn't have enough wet dipies, I would get someone to look at the latch again.
Otherwise, you're probably just fine!

I agree with everyone else. I saw an LC because River "clicked" too. He has a bubble palette (basically, the roof of his mouth goes way up, like a little cave in there!). The breast tissue didn't fill it all, so he clicked. As he's grown, his palette has become less pronounced, and he takes in more tissue, because his mouth is bigger. So, no more clicking! But she told me, what everyone else said... If the baby's gaining, and having good diapers, and you're not sore, no worry. If baby or you start having problems/soreness, get help.
