I'm finally doing SOMETHING right!!!

Ansleigh had her 2 week appointment yesterday. She passed her birth weight!! Yeah. She's now 7 pounds 8 ounces. I'm so happy. Our pedi was happy too. She did great. She was trying to hold her head up (searching for the food supply) and the pedi commented on how strong she was. I was happy. Yeah- she gained weight. I just had to share. Things have gotten so much easier... I still have issues with latching on to the right breast, but other than that- everything is good. Just wanted to share... :)

Boy, I know what you mean, that weight gain is a huge reassurance! I am so glad you are doing well.
Let me know when you become ready for a visit. Right now I would have to bring my kids, but when my DH gets home, I would love to just come over to see you and meet the baby!

oh good, astreia. i thought you'd thrown in the towel. take a deep breath, you're doing great! let me know if you need anything! stella is about to start using a cup all the time - do you want the 4oz bottles to go with that pump? i think i have 3 of them.
