Developmental pediatrician appointment

We had his developmental pediatrician appointment today. They didn't do much asked me a lot of questions about what he is doing and looked him over really well. They said his muscle tone in his legs is good. They said his muscle tone in his head, neck, back and chest is low. So he is behind in that. I already knew that though.

That means he isn't lifting his head like he is suppose to by now. He isn't lifting it at all yet. He is getting more control but not lifting it. This is a different doc then his regular pedi. I am waiting tell we move then I am going to start looking for a new pedi. Yes he will most likely have physical delays and he may have speech delays as well. He isn't babbling yet. He only grunts and laughs a little. At least his legs are strong, maybe that means he won't have an issue with walking. :) Some kids with Jourbert end up in willchairs or don't learn to walk tell their 5 years old. I think Jake will do good with walking. Jourbert has to do with low muscle tone so its common for Jourbert kids to be slower developmental wise.

That's great that his legs are so strong and that he is laughing! Kaleb didn't really laugh until he was 4 months old. He smiled, but I could never get that child to laugh. lol Anyway, good luck on the upcoming appointments!
