Did you know you can get free formula from your doctor's office?
They will give you one 8 oz sample can on each visit, you just have to ask.
If you are really nice to the nurse, they may give you a whole bag full of sample cans in the brand that you use.
I have a few months supply. I am still nursing so I use it to supplement and have never had to even buy one can of formula with this 2nd baby!

They have tons of it and tell me to ask everytime!

Yep, sure do...Its just really hard to remember to ask;) .... One time the nurse felt bad cause I'd been there several times in one week & gave me 12 cans...I felt like I'd hit the formula lotto:lol I wish when they ask you are you still using yada yada that they just took it upon there self to go get you some....That would be great:)

whoo! hoo! good for you-I will take all the free I can get. The nurses are usually really nice about it- the usually give 2 sample cans ech visit. One time we got 6 cans! I was very happy! I figure after all the $$ we spent on the hosptial it is nice to get a break on something-ask away, they have not said no yet.

yup. My friend's daughter had to be on nutramigen and she didn't buy formula for her first 5 months b/c of the DR giving them free. After that she only bought about 1 can a month and the rest were free. *I* on the other hand have never been offered it and was too chicken to ask (somehow I thought it would make me sound like I wanted handouts, stupid i know!) so i paid for all of our formula :bag

Signing up with your preferred formula website is usually a good idea. I'm signed up with Similac's Welcome addition club and have gotten enough $5 off coupons that it adds up to 3 free 27oz cans. Every lil penny does count!
