Where do you buy your plants/flowers for outside your home? I want to buy some pots and flowers, but I can't seem to find quality flowers/plants. I want to add some color to our courtyard, front door, and balcony.
What flower takes shade only and very little sun? My courtyard is completely shaded and gets VERY little sunlight. Any suggestions?

i would go with native plants. if you take garland road up past LBJ, there is a road across from the walmart - it's on the right, i think it's called leon. turn there, then take the first left before the dairy. rohde's nursery is on the left a short ways down. it's a native, organic nursery, and they are very friendly and knowledgeable. there is another one at skillman and oram called redenta's, but they are much smaller, and i have a hard time finding any help there. more expensive, too. good luck!

That is so funny, I was going to suggest Rohde's, too! lol
Also, if you want west of I-75, Northhaven Gardens is a great place. They have native, drought resistant plants, too. They also have a VERY helful staff.
There is a nursery on Centerville, near Wynn pool...they have a nice selection, too.
HOpe this helps. There is also a great catalog company that specializes in heat/drought risistant plants...High Mountain is the name I think. My sister used them quite a bit to landscape her place up in Melissa. She has been very happy.
Have a great day!
