Breastfeeding support groups?

Do any of you bf moms meet up? support groups? Do you know of any support groups in dallas are besides the LLL?

Just curious, i am a first time mommy to 3week old and am breastfeeding. Haven't encountered any real problems yet, but sometimes i just get discouraged or think i am not doing it right...I do want to bf for as long as i can but the road just seems so long right now. I know the LLL meetings are like once a month and i plan on going but i was curious if there were any weekly or biweekly groups just for support and info.

I don't belong to any support groups, but I have a lot of bf'ing "friends" online, and I spend a lot of time at nursingmom.net . I know there are a few nursing moms on here, I can't speak for everyone, but I am always willing to lend an ear. Pm if you ever want to meet, or talk by phone/ email and I will be glad to help you out. :hug

I'm not part of any groups(I would recommend LLL), but this is my third baby and I've BF all three. I'm commited to at least one year. It's been 8 months so far for James. Breastfeeding is so beneficial to both you and your baby. Good for you for being commited to the best you have to offer.
