Call and see if she is excepting new patients and if she excepts your insurance 972-378-0068 kimmykat 08-03-2004 Tuesday, 12:08 PM Thank you all for your help, I think I found my new doctor! amyjoe 08-03-2004 Tuesday, 09:19 PM my doc is at medical city in dallas, but he is wonderful. mark godat is his name. Christine, My mother was told by "the best" OB-GYNs in Dallas that she needed a hysterectomy about 10 years ago because her uterus was collapsing. Dr. Godat did uterine suspention surgery on her and every doctor she has seen since says the results are remarkable. She has been told hers resembles that of a 30 year old. Thank God she got a second and third opinion despite having seen highly respected "experts" in the field. So, just confirmation... not that you needed it ;)... in MY family, he is very well thought of and my mother is particularly thankful for his hesitance to just go ahead with a hysterectomy. Prudence like this is hard to find in the medical industry! I didn't know he was an OB as well, or would have perhaps gone to him when I was pregnant. We went to Dr. Bernadine Bank at Walnut Hill Assoc (Presby Dallas). I was very happy with her, but glad to know about Dr. Godat still being in Dallas and being a OB to boot. Thanks, Amy texasamy 08-24-2004 Tuesday, 10:14 PM Dr. Audrey Graham is amazing, but she's in Dallas. I love her, just had to give her a plug;) bidetkitty 10-03-2004 Sunday, 08:38 PM Christine, My mother was told by "the best" OB-GYNs in Dallas that she needed a hysterectomy about 10 years ago because her uterus was collapsing. Thanks, Amy amy, for some reason i just got notification about this post. dr godat has delivered all 3 of my kids. i didn't have a regular OB when i found out i was pregnant with gordon, and i literally picked him out of a ppo book. i knew his office was close to where we live - he was at baylor, too, at that time. we just adored him right away. my husband thought it was so great that he sat us down at his desk and pulled a plastic uterus out of the drawer lol. his father was a legend in the dallas medical community, as well. Cara 10-24-2004 Sunday, 11:53 PM I just wanted to add that Dr. Tara Dullye at Presby Dallas is wonderful! |
