I need to wear a lotion with sunscreen on my face. I do not wear a lot of makeup, but I do wear loose powder sometimes. My problem: I can't find one that I like. I would like to find something that is odorless and not oily. I can not stand having a heavy sunscreen odor close to my face and the one that I bought (L'Oreal) is driving me crazy. It says it is odorless and not oily, but it feels oily and it does have a smell. Any recommendations? Why do you like the one you are recommending?

Have you tried Whole Foods? They have ones without fragrance, and you can sample a lot of their beauty products to see if they're oily/smelly or not.

I would recommend Mary Kay.They have a great lotion and it has SPF 15. I used to sell MK and I still have a few things in stock. I dont think I have this one though. I can definately recommend a consultant if you are interested.

Oil of Olay has an SPF 15, unscented, moisturizing lotion. I tried it and it's not oily at all, it does not have a scent, and it is priced reasonably.

Thanks for the suggestions!! I bought some Oil of Olay and tried it out today and I am very happy with it. I still may try looking at Whole Foods (didn't even think of that, so thanks for the idea Cori) or seeing what Mary Kay has to offer.

I use Nutrogena (sp? I'm to lazy to go look at the bottle). It is what the dermatologist suggested. I have no idea what is in it, but is only a tiny bit thicker than thier oil free lotion and it doesn't break me out.

I've been using the Oil of Olay, but I need something waterproof......that washes right off. I know there is one called FACES, not sure who makes it.......I think it's a 30 or so, my mom uses it at the lake, i'll have to check it out next time I'm out........I get that mottled look from the sun since I'm on the Birth Control Patch (the only downside). So if you run into me, I'm the one with the large hat

Julia,
Ack - I didn't even think about getting one that is waterproof. I will definitely need something waterproof for the summer, since I hope to take the kids swimming a lot. I don't wear hats (yet), but I have been thinking about getting one for when I am working out in the yard or at the pool =)

I agree about the hats, very important in the sun. My hair is blonde and tends to turn very light (too light for my liking) and dry out if I do not keep my head covered while outdoors. I love the Oil of Olay sunscreen, but when I'm in the water I just put on Coppertone.
