Cell phones! UGH!!

I was on AT&T but we decided to go w/ Cingular because it was $20 cheaper. David & I try anything cheaper since we're living off one paycheck.

Well, I just read my Cingular bill after David took his phone out of town & raised our normal $60 bill to $450. I never look at the bill because it's the same every month. I just noticed that we're being charge to call each other & it costs minutes/money for people to call us! I do like the roll over minutes but I feel like we're being scammed here. The guy said it'd cost $9.99 per phone to add mobile to mobile calling. I sortof wish we kept our AT&T account.

What cell phone co. do you use? I might just have to look for another plan to cut costs.

We love Sprint!!!!!!!! hate AT&T AND CINGULAR I know what you mean though AT&T is trying to screw us :(

I have AT&T GO phone and I lvoe it! WE havent had any problems with it and everything has been great.

We have Nextel and absolutely love the direct connect feature...you do not burn your minutes using it and it works nation-wide. Also all incoming calls are free and do not burn your minutes.

We use Verizon and have been happy with it. I really like their new "in" network. Calls to other verizon phones are minute free! That is great for us!

we also have free sprint to sprint minutes!!!!!!!!!I love that!

I know what you mean about cingular we switched to them and when i called to find out what rollover minutes i had they told me 300 so i thought ok I have 900 mins in all well got my bill it was 259.00 i asked why didnt my minutes rollover and they told me you have to have service for 2m onths before they do. Well I got screwed big time. I cant get out of my contract though. I love my phone and all but i am scared to use it now I dont want to go over..
