Do you use CC, Check or Cash More?

Which do you use the most when buying stuff?

We charge everything and pay it off at the end of the month. Including groceries.

Chase or Citibank Credit/Debit combo.

Technically, they are Mastercards, but immediately debit our checking accounts. I don't carry much cash at all.

Debit card. I have no credit cards

We charge almost everything - including a lot of our monthly bills. We do it for the rewards. But we pay our credit card off each month & never ever carry a balance.

I carry no cash, and use credit cards only for emergency purchases I hadn't budgeted for (ie. new washing machine). I use two checks a month, and the rest of the bills are ACH debit from the bank accounts.

I put CC only cause I prefer it but we try to do most things with cash. ;)

We use our CC most of the time for the rewards...even some of our bills are paid by CC for this. If you have zero interest AND get rewards...that's the way to go.

I use to use only debit card but since we moved here Brian doesn't have me on his biz account so I can only use cash. I am getting really tired of it too. I am going to tell him this week he better open me an account I can use or add me to the biz account.

Well since I can no longer find anyone that will take checks anymore we now use debit cards. I do write a few bills each month with a check. At least this way a box of checks will last pretty much forever.

I never have cash so I always use the Debit card.

Amex - pay off each month and Visa w/ Miles pay off each month and debit card too.....I rarely have a buck on me! If someone asked me for a donation my response would probably be, do you take a credit card?

We use our debit/mastercard for everything. When I use it as a "credit card" instead of a "debit card", USAA gives up a rebate every month. :D It still comes out of our account just like a debit card though.

we use our Upromise credit card most of the time because it puts a % into a college fund for our son. we pay it off each month but it's an easy way to get free $$

I dont own a debit or credit card. i would get into too much trouble. I operate mostly off checks...that way I usually have to think more about what I buy b/c less places accept them.

Credit card for the rewards.

Sometimes gift cards since I get 5% back from grocery, gas, and drug stores, 1% everywhere else. The grocery stores sell gift cards to some of the places we only get 1% from normally, so it's a way to cheat the system and shop there and get 5%. We bought $500 worth of American Airlines gift cards last month at Tom Thumb to get the 5% back for some plane tickets. The cashier thought we were crazy, I think.

:yeah Well, 'cept for the part about Trinidad!! We haven't been there. I hardly ever carry cash. I even use the cc for less than $5!!

The rewards actually add up pretty quick! Sometimes, I use my debit since my CC is AMEX and lots of places don't accept it.

Debit card. I usually only carry less than $10 on me.

cash? don't think my wallet has seen that for quite awhile!
