Another newbie!

Hi!

My name is Krista and my DH David and I live in The Colony, Tx. We have a son, Parker who is 4 months old today! We both work for Southwest Airlines and love it, though I hope to someday be a stay at home mommy. In the meantime, my wonderful sis-in-law keeps our son while we work. I tried to attach a picture, but I guess it was too big.

I have an awesome husband, Drew, and we have been married for 7 yrs. Drew is in grad school full time and doing an internship in Garland, and I am a SAHM. We live near 75 and 12 right now, but will probably be moving into the Garland Area soon.

Ha ha ha...yeah, I grew up in Garland, graduated from South Garland High School, and moved out of that city as soon as I graduated. I do NOT like Garland, and only go back there when I have to because my mom still lives there. It's just old and dirty unless you live closer to Naaman Forrest High School near I-90.

I know what you mean. The city itself I like. I grew up here and well it is home. But I HATE the politics of Garland. I have been round and round with them. What do you do for SW?

Hi Krista, I bet we grew up next to each other. I live in Garland and grew up in Garland, yes I hate it to but just haven't gotten out yet. I went to Lakeview but lived closer to South. Btw, my name is Geree I have two children Joshua (9) and Kirstyn (5). I have been married for four years to dh Rick. I work outside of them home. It seems like the work outside of home moms is growing, we will have to plan a playgroup in the evening or on the weekend. Hope to meet you soon.

Welcome! I'm Cori and our family lives in North Garland.

Dh is a Project Manager at SW and I work in the Finance dept as an associate in the Revenue Accounting group. We love it! Dh has been here 7 years and I've been here almost 5. For those that know people here, what are their names, one of us might know him/her?

I grew up in Garland right by O'Banion middle school across the street from the United Methodist Church on Northwest Highway. It used to be a decent neighborhood, but is becoming rundown. That and the ground is just horrible out there that my mom's foundation has so many problems and has made cracks all in her house. She's even had it fixed, but the creek runs below her house so that's caused all her problems, but she just found that out within the past couple of years. Her house was built in 1967 and she bought it in 1975 I think. My DH now live in The Colony and absolutely LOVE it! We've been there since Oct 2002.
