Does anyone have a recipe for the sauce that goes over sesame chicken? (Like what you would get in a Chinese restaurant)

What kind of sauce are you looking for. Here is a recipe for orange sauce.


Orange Sauce
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons flour
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup orange juice
2 teaspoons finely grated orange peel
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons vinegar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
a dash of Cointreau or brandy, optionalIn a saucepan, melt butter; stir in flour until smooth and well blended. Add chicken broth, orange juice and orange peel. Continue cooking over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils. Simmer for 1 to 2 minutes. In another saucepan, combine the sugar and vinegar; cook until golden in color. Stir in orange juice mixture; remove from heat and stir in lemon juice and brandy, if using.

Here is another recipe.

<LI class=blist>2 tablespoons sesame seeds, raw <LI class=blist>1 tablespoon water <LI class=blist>1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce <LI class=blist>1 tablespoon maple syrup <LI class=blist>1 tablespoon dry sherry <LI class=blist>1 teaspoon ginger root, fresh, minced <LI class=blist>1/2 teaspoon five-spice powder <LI class=blist>2 tablespoons all-purpose flour <LI class=blist>1/2 teaspoon table salt <LI class=blist>1/4 teaspoon black pepper <LI class=blist>1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 2-inch pieces
2 teaspoons peanut oil
Directions:


Place a large nonstick skillet (http://www.cdkitchen.com/recipes/recs/284/Sesame_Chicken43118.shtml#) over medium-high heat. Add sesame seeds and cook until lightly toasted, shaking the pan frequently, about 2 to 3 minutes; transfer seeds to a shallow dish and set aside.
Whisk water, soy sauce (http://www.cdkitchen.com/recipes/recs/284/Sesame_Chicken43118.shtml#), maple syrup, sherry, ginger and five-spice powder together in a small bowl; set aside.
Combine flour, salt and pepper in a shallow dish; add chicken and turn to coat. Shake chicken pieces to remove excess flour.
Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and sauté until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes. Add soy sauce mixture to chicken and cook until sauce thickens and is almost evaporated, about 2 to 3 minutes more.
Dip chicken pieces in toasted sesame seeds (http://www.cdkitchen.com/recipes/recs/284/Sesame_Chicken43118.shtml#) and serve, drizzled with any additional soy sauce mixture. This recipe for Sesame Chicken serves/makes 4.

YUM! I really like seasame chicken!

:yeah I had it twice this week! Once at PF Changs and once at our local take-out place! YUMMY!!!
