BTDT advice, please

I'm looking for a little BTDT advice, please.

Last week after our "virus," I continued to wake up in the night nauseous for 2 or so hours. Then, Saturday, I started having sharp cramping that seemed really familiar from my pregnancy w/Leo. So Sunday, I was 11dpo, so I bought a test. Yes, I knew it was early and could be a chemical pregnancy, but I had to know. In the middle of the day, not FMU, it was a BFP. Small celebration.

Yesterday, the nausea and the preg cramping stop. I had a little creamy CM that seemed a tiny bit pink. I took another test in the middle of the morning today. Another BFP. Then I start getting a different kind of cramping - AF cramping. After lunch I had a couple of patches of creamy CM with blood when I wiped, no doubt about it this time. Today I'm 13dpo, and I usually start on 14dpo.

So, I didn't have this with Leo. Heck, I didn't even know I was pregnant until 7 or so weeks with Leo, so I wasn't examining every time I wiped. Which I think might be a better way to do this. :rolleyes I really think I'm starting my period. I'm sad, but I'll be ok and we'll start again. What is my course of of action with my dr.? I think it's too early to do anything about it. Do I just hang tight for a few days, or call immediately, or what?

Looking for BTDT advice, please. Not quite ready to celebrate yet.

It's normal to have some implantation bleeding right around the time of your missed period. If it's not a lot, I wouldn't worry! But I know that's easier said than done. CONGRATS Holly!!!

I had implantation bleeding with three out of four of the kids. It always happened about the time my period was due, but it was VERY light. Really just spotting.
I would give it a week or so before you call your ob. There is nothing that the doc could do now.

I had it with two of my three pregnancies. Very normal. However, I would call your doc though if you don't get full fledge AF tomorrow. I know for me, they decided to put me on progestrone supositories. Also, they can check to make sure it implanted in the right spot and not your tubes. Personally, I would rather call my doc and have it be nothing, then not call and have it turn out to be bad. KWIM?

I was put on oral progesterone with Joseph and told it was voodoo medicine by the doctor that prescribed it. (his words)
I was put on progesterone suppositories with Libby.
I was not put on anything with Caroline and was told that progesterone was voodoo medicine.
Three different doctors.
I don't think that progesterone level had anything to do with the implantation bleeding. I was put on progesterone because of the three miscarriages.

Well, great. :) Now what to do?

Seriously, I'm glad other people have had it.

I didn't have the implantation bleeding, but I understand it happens 6-14 dpo from what I've read.

BTDT, I cramped AF type cramps with Nora for about 8-9 weeks. We did U/S and everything was fine and the cramping eventually went away! A friend of mine cramped that way her ENTIRE pg! So hang in there!

Congrats though! :D

ETA: if you aren't sure...it's always a good thing to check with your doc!

sounds like implantation bleeding too me but CALL YOUR DOCTOR! You will feel better once you have it confirmed and all is well! That's awesome BTW! Congrats.

I didn't have bleeding with Andrew, but I did have bad cramping, and lots of CM throughout the pregnancy. I'll say congratulations when you feel a little more sure :)

Thanks for asking.

Well, the blood got darker yesterday morning and then stopped completely for the rest of the day. Then, last night, it started again - just a small amount in mucous, it's never been much - but bright again. So I called the dr. When I said that, yes, there had been some cramping, she told me to go to the ER just to check it out :jaw2 - probably hormones or a small period, but we needed to be safe.

So, we did, and everything was good. They confirmed with bloodwork that I am just a little bit pregnant. :love The doc saw some bleeding, too, so they wanted an ultrasound, so we did that, too. Four hours and a copay later, they think everything is fine as far as they can tell - so just hormones or implantation. Of course it's too early to see much of where it has implanted, but everything looked great otherwise, I don't have any pains when they mash around on me, etc.

I felt a little silly, but I'm just glad it all checked out. It has been tiny amounts today, so I'll be happy when it winds down. I was very active with Leo's pregnancy, and I'd like to get my confidence back so I can get back in my exercise routine.

Here's my chart for other FF junkies. Hope I do it right...

:banana A HUGE CONGRATS!!!!!! :banana

I too had bleeding with both kids. I have BRIGHT RED, heavy bleeding with Brayden and I thought for sure I had lost another baby at that moment. I went in for an u/s and there he was still kicking away! I also had light spotting with Kennedy here and there...which also freaked me out!

OH...I am so happy for you!!!
