A SAHD has joined

Hi there.

My name is Chuck and my DW is Laura. We have a daughter named Cocoa who will be nine months as of Friday. My wife is a civil engineer for a very large engineering construction firm. We have been moving across the country since 2000.

We just moved here two weeks ago from Charlotte, NC where I was involved with a group there called www.charlottemommies.com I also own an international board for stay at home parents called www.stayathomeparents.us There are moms and dads there from many states and some foreign countries.

I put Weimville as my location because we raise, breed and show weimaraners. We currently have three female weims ages 9, 8 and 2. My home overfloweth with estrogen. ;)

I was told about this board by Teri (don't know her username) and said I would check it out. I met her today over at the Shops. Cocoa and I usually can be found their daily around 9am at the playarea.

Well hi, Chuck! :wave How exciting to have a SAHD on the board. I'm Meg, a SAHM to Jackson, 20 mos. We moved to Dallas last May and have been enjoying meeting lots of wonderful kiddos and parents here. Hi :wave my name is Geree, I work outside of the home. I have to wonderful children Joshua (9) and Kirstyn (5). I have been married for 4 years to dh Rick. I am glad that we have a dad on the board, can't wait to hear a dads point of view on things.

I'm Chandra. My DH Paul and I moved to the DFW area in June from Phoenix. Our DD just turned 3. I hope you enjoy the board. I've found it very helpful in meeting new people.

Thanks again. I think it says on her site, but we call our DD Cocoa online because we just didn't want marketers and other spammers to find out our daughter's real name. We have never used her real name anywhere on the net.

Of course, the URL drives my MIL absolutely batty which as far as I am concerned is an added bonus.

As far as meeting in person, I found from the group I just left that everyone just called me Flagger and her Cocoa and that is just fine. But I do share her real name at playdates, etc.

Hi Chuck! It is nice to have a SAHD around! I think the idea of not revealing your dd's real name is great. Wish I had thouhgt of that earlier;) .

I am Nina and I have a dd named Brianna. She has been keeping me real busy so I don't post often. I do get out to the Willowbend playarea but right now she is going through major separation anxiety and stranger anxiety:( .
