Af finally left...thank goodness. Although I shouldn't complain because she was only here for 4 days. But she did make my V-Day night not happen! ;) I am trying to decide whether to give the OPKs another shot or just go with my body. My doc suggested sex on cd 13, 14, and 15. I think cd 18, 19, 20. I'm thinking to just either do it every day from 13-20(but that wastes good sperm). We'll probably just go every other night and hope for the best. I'm tired of BD type sex. We are off of that and this cycle is going to just be straight up good sex! Make sense? Sorry if that was too much info on my sex life this month...lmbo!

So where are you girls at? Jess...did you get the right days? Cara, are you back in town? Susie, what did you decide to do about the luteal phase?

Well I am hoping for all of you this month. I know how bad you want a big fat HPT and I sure hope you get it soon!! (((hugs)))

I am on CD20 and I think I am 3dpo. I am pretty sure I ovulated on Monday. I could be wrong give or take a day. So I am just in that 2 week wait now. Although I really don't feel like this will be it. Surely using a OPK once can't make it happen that fast. LOL It would be nice if it did though.

Ya know...as soon as we got married we started TTC...it was 5.5 years before I got a BFP. Then we started trying again when DS was 4 months old...it's 20 cycles later and it's so weird..the only time we haven't been thinking about TTC was while I was pg. We are looking forward to a little afternoon delight when it doesn't matter where I am in the cycle.

I'd say pick up some OPKs anyway...it's not going to hurt and you can kinda narrow down the days.

We found out that my ins will not pay ANY of the progesterone. We thought they would pay 50% of the $322 a month but nope.. Dh said we would do it if we knew everything else was working right but with me not ovulating..why would we pay $322... so I am in limbo :(

What if you try to the progesterone cream? I hear that works really well for the LPD...you can buy it online or at health food stores without prescriptions!

I used OPK for my 2nd (miscarried) and 3rd pregnancies (Ian) and got pregnant the first try with both w/ the OPk. I had positive reading on day 11. So I had sex 11,13,15 and worked :thumb

I think every other day lets the good swimmers build up.Maybe having sex a day or two before you O will get those good swimmers ready for when you O. So maybe 9,11,13,15,17 if that doesn't work next month try 8,10,12,16,18. I wouldn't tell dh a thing - just turn on the charm :thumb

I've never charted so most of what's in these TTC posts is over my head, so I hope you don't mind me throwing in my OPK recommendation.

I used OPK's because I have a traveling husband and I had a short time for insurance purposes. I would say why not give them a try.

Susie - I hope the Progesterone cream is a go, that would be so much easier to try. Fingers crossed xx

I'm back from out of town...had a good time in BR, but it sucked driving homme tonight in the sleet.

The advice my OB gave me was to BD every other day from CD 10 until pos OPK. Once I got a pos OPK, then to BD every day for 3 days.

I don't know much about prog except I have a few friends who have used the prog cream to help lengthen their LPs and they felt like it took a few cycles to notice a difference.

I think that I am on CD 20 today, but I am not using OPKs and we are just going au naturelle this cycle. There is too much stress in our lives to add the TTC stress on top of it at the moment. It sucks, but unfortunately that is the cards we were dealt for right now.
