Cori, I think it was you that had posted a recipe/picture of your key lime pie a while ago. I remember that it looked absolutely yummy, and I am having a craving for it! Do you still have the recipe that you can share?

I'll have to look it up tonight, and get back with you. It's really easy, but I can't remember it off the top of my head.

Make a graham cracker crust:
Crush graham crackers and add enough melted butter to moisten. Shape to pie pan.
Whip 3 egg yolks until frothy. Add 1 can condensed milk, 4 oz. fresh squeezed lime juice (if you can't find key limes, regular limes work as well) and the zest of 1 lime. Pour into pie shell and bake for 10 minutes at 300 degrees F.
While the pie is baking, pour heavy whipping cream into a bowl and whip with an electric mixer with sugar to taste until you have some nice fresh whipped cream. *I find that ready-made whip cream is way too sweet for my taste, and it only takes a minute or two to make it fresh* I just add a little sugar at a time until it tastes perfect.
Garnish the pie with the whip cream and lime slices.
