Dallas SWAT

Not sure how long it has been on but if you like cop shows then this one is so cool. You go out on calls with the Dallas Swat teams and learn some about their lives.............it is on A&E.

FYI new season premier of Dallas SWATJuly 12th 9:00 pm. we are all about SWAT and police shows at my house....hummm I wonder why? :lol

i always enjoy watching this shows b/c a lot of the guys are friends of my hubby's. it's great to see how they act (and yes, it is ACTING) on the show as opposed to how they really behave in real life. a lot of the guys are fakes, but you're right, they are good looking!! sometimes my hubby is on the show 48 hrs later (also a cop show on A&E)...and on the news! lol...

Funny I'm watching a TIVO'd 48 hours right now we enjoy that show too. Mine is on SWAT but not in Dallas :) He knows some of the guys too from training, conferences, and classes they have attended together. I enjoy the show even if it does have cheesy parts. It is nice for people to see that the police officers are also people and family members and not just robots

and have FAMILIES....i couldn't agree with you more! it's nice that they show it isn't always glamorous for them. or their wives! i'm glad to see another police wife on here!

Me too I have seen a few but not many. In my opinion the more the public sees police officers as family members with real lives the better it is for our husbands. I think it is important that SWAT has a face and not just a uniform and a balaclava.

i couldn't have said it any better. how long has your hubby been on the force? daniel's been on almost 6 years. he loves it and i'm so glad it makes him happy. i always get the "oh my gosh, dont you worry about him???" question whenever people find out he's a cop. i just smile and tell them that it's no way to live constantly worrying that something will happen to him. i just pray for his safety when he leaves the house and put the rest in God's hands.
