..always sucks! The good news is I am starting my first prgesterone cycle.

I will have a sono and blood work on Sat... during the heavest part of my period...ewww... any BTDT experineces? Was it as gross as I think it will be?

I had a CD 3 vag u/s done and it wasn't that bad. It is just a long wand that they insert and take a look at things. You will feel some pressure, but nothing bad at all. The u/s tech I had was very sweet and pointed things out to me on the screen. It was over in 10 mins. I had mine done at my OBs office and she had tissues and wipes to clean up with after it was over plus be sure you have an extra tampon or pad for after the u/s.

I haven't had one while having AF, but I had the intra vaginal u/s with the long wand while I was pg. It gives them a better view of things than the u/s they do of your tummy. It was no big deal, but what would make it a big deal would be the messiness of AF. Yikes! :D

Anyway, I had a vaginal sono during my period and it wasn't bad. They put a pad down on the table/chair thingie. I thought it would be worse, but it wasn't bad. Good luck!!
