Lost 1/25angie 01-25-2006 Wednesday, 09:28 PM Was that diaper commercial funny or what? Kristy 01-25-2006 Wednesday, 09:33 PM :lol Yes, it was the best part of the show! I could not believe they were in diapers. I thought tonight was ok, but went a little long with the Charlie story. Next week is a repeat, but the upcoming shows look good. I really want Desmond to make a comeback. angie 01-25-2006 Wednesday, 09:35 PM :lol Yes, it was the best part of the show! I could not believe they were in diapers. I thought tonight was ok, but went a little long with the Charlie story. Next week is a repeat, but the upcoming shows look good. I really want Desmond to make a comeback. What?!? Another repeat. Is it a repeat of tonights show? I agree that it was the best part of the show. It was so funny! I wish I would have TIVO'd it, but something is wonky with our TIVO tonight, so I had to watch the show in our bedroom. Astreia 01-25-2006 Wednesday, 09:38 PM I felt a bit let down tonight... The Charlie storyline went on FOREVER... That diaper commercial was hilarous though. What is Locke up to? angie 01-25-2006 Wednesday, 09:45 PM What is up with them kidnapping Sun? Do the Lost boards say anything about it yet? I think it is kind of sweet that they are giving Hurley a "love" interest...even if it doesn't work out. Chera25 01-25-2006 Wednesday, 09:49 PM That diaper thing was WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol What I got out of tonight's the most was CREEPY Locke. Something just seems really off with him. I've always been a big Locke fan & defender of him being a 'good guy' but that scene when Charlie first went to Claire to tell her she needed to have Aaron baptized & there was creepy music & the camera just kinda did a *circle* & ended up focused on John... it was just creepy! & What was up with Eko marking the trees, interesting... it was a creepy show to me...! I didn't know next week was a repeat. :( & I agree, can't wait for Desmond to come back! :) angie 01-25-2006 Wednesday, 09:52 PM That diaper thing was WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lolWhat I got out of tonight's the most was CREEPY Locke. I hope they don't end up making him into a bad guy. I wonder if they are ever going to bring Walt back? Chera25 01-26-2006 Thursday, 03:02 AM What is up with them kidnapping Sun? Do the Lost boards say anything about it yet? I think it is kind of sweet that they are giving Hurley a "love" interest...even if it doesn't work out. Sun: there are pix from the scene they showed in the previews on LostMedia.com (do a search for Lost Links lol). There is speculation or opinions that *he looks just like Ethan*. I saw the pic but there is SO MUCH rain it's hard to make out, but I don't think it looks like Ethan... :rolleyes There is a LOT of talk that maybe Sun is pregnant & that's why they suddenly want her...? *Go Hurley!* :D There's also talk that maybe she was the psychiatrist while he was *in* the mental institution... BUT there's also talk that maybe SHE was a patient (compulsive liar perhaps?) in the institution as well... Though I'M totally not convinced that he was a patient (he's never said WHY he was there just that he was IN... & he did tell Jack "I'm NOT crazy!"...), maybe HE worked there & she was a patient? Argh..I must have missed that part where it showed Locke's creepy face. I hope they don't end up making him into a bad guy. I wonder if they are ever going to bring Walt back? Locke: I don't ever want him to be *bad* either, but he really creeped me out tonight! :( Walt: Not sure...I would assume so & there's lots of talk about a dramatic aging *thing*, so maybe we won't see Walt as we know him...? I don't know, I don't like those far-fetched theories! lol I think tonight's was more about set-up for something coming than anything *big* in it itself... LOVE LOST! :upthumb Susan 01-26-2006 Thursday, 06:21 AM It was very funny but I don't think Charlie's character deserves (or could really sustain) an entire episode. He's a drug addicted rock star...big deal...they are a dime a dozen. I also don't want Locke to be a bad guy. They have often hinted at it but I just don't want it to happen. How is Hurley gaining weight??? LOL...I love him but shouldn't the producers make him loose weight..at least a little? Even walking back and forth to the hatch to do laundry would make some difference...not to mention a steady diet of fresh fish and fruit. Oh well..I still love it. Susan Marci 01-26-2006 Thursday, 08:09 AM Charlie's turning into a freak, it seems! He LOOKS like he's doing drugs again, but not sure. And Locke, they make him look weak - then tough....and nice - then evil! I can't figure it out! Kristy 01-26-2006 Thursday, 08:14 AM What I got out of tonight's the most was CREEPY Locke. Something just seems really off with him. You know, now that I think about it, you are right! They did create a different type of feeling about Locke last night. Hmm...and HE has the guns & is the only one with the combination. I wonder why he kept the statues & heroin. The area that Charlie burned down - was that around Eko's trees? They showed him looking at the ashes, so I wasn't sure. The show definitely had a creepy feel. The scene with Claire and Megan (Charlie's mom) with halos telling him to save the baby...gives me chills! Christine 01-26-2006 Thursday, 08:15 AM Interesting theory on Sun being pregnant ... Yeah, Locke creeped me out last night too and I was wondering what was going on with him and why he took the statues and kept them. I thought it was quite extreme for Locke to hit Charley so many times and so hard and that everyone just watched? But maybe that was expected because of the way Charley was acting? Does anyone think that maybe Locke did not want Aaron to be baptised? Ashley3 01-26-2006 Thursday, 08:19 AM Last nights episode was interesting. I got the creeps with Charlies dreams about Aaron. (and his mother and Claire saying "save the baby"). Remember how that French lady (forgot her name) stole the baby after he was first born? Do you all have any theories as to what is going on? My dh's new one is that all of the people who have not been taken by the others are being left b/c of they are "bad". i.e. Eko was a drug dealer, Charlie was a drug taker, Kate was a murderer, as was Sawyer, Jack kissed another woman while he was married (?)(grasping for something bad in Jack), Hurley stole the numbers to win the lottery from the psych patient, Sayed was a henchman for Sadam, Ana Lucia killed that guy, Michael and Locke I am not sure, but the way things come out in this show-you just never know........... the kids have all been taken by the others (including Walt) maybe the others are really saving them from the "bad" survivors. Makes you wonder what in the world JJ Abrams and his crew are up to .............. any other theories?? Oh.......maybe that is why Sun gets kidnapped? She is a good person one more..........I think Claire did not know her father? Could Locke be her real dad? Surely there is not going to be anything b/w them. He is too old for her. Remember when he made the cradle for her on her birthday? Christine 01-26-2006 Thursday, 08:24 AM I love these threads and reading everyons take on this show! Those are very interesting! Shirelle 01-26-2006 Thursday, 08:25 AM CREEPY Locke. Something just seems really off with him. I've always been a big Locke fan & defender of him being a 'good guy' I didn't read all the responses, but I have said over and over that Locke is BAD, BAD, BAD!!!! Dh thinks he's a good guy, but there's just something too weird about him! Shirelle 01-26-2006 Thursday, 08:26 AM My dh's new one is that all of the people who have not been taken by the others are being left b/c of they are "bad". LOL, my dh's theory is that the whole story is in Jack's head :) At the end of the show he will wake up from the weird dream that he's having. Christine 01-26-2006 Thursday, 08:30 AM LOL, my dh's theory is that the whole story is in Jack's head :) At the end of the show he will wake up from the weird dream that he's having. :lol That is soooo "Dallas"!:biglaugh Jenzo 01-26-2006 Thursday, 08:33 AM Oh yeah...I agree about Locke being a bad guy. Ever since they showed him at his work in that store (or wherever they were) being insulted by his boss...i didnt buy it.....he HAD to have some kind of military/govt/mob/etc job in the past. He knows way too much...i cant wait for his story to widen a bit. He is very intriguing! Last night episode was indeed weird....very out there and i was the most confused by that episode than any other :lol I dont believe CHarlie is using again. I think whatever made him see what he saw and do what he did was whatever 'thing' is out there that made Jack see his dad, Shannon see Walt...etc....so many theories! lol I love this show. Ashley3 01-26-2006 Thursday, 08:34 AM Maybe it is in Jack's head- Maybe he is the one in the psych ward. Why did he meet Desmond running in the stadium and then he ends up on the island? weird. Definately keeps you watchin'! jendw 01-26-2006 Thursday, 08:42 AM hmm, I didn't get the sense of Locke being evil in this episode. I thought he was very concerned about Charlie, and disappointed in him. Perhaps he kept hte heroin for medicinal purposes? I did think it was out of character of him to hit Charlie though. Also, I'm sure we'll see some sort of past connection between Libby and Hurley. Something about Libby doesn't sit right with me. Interesting theory about her being in the psych hospital. This was kind of a so-so episode, I thought. The Charlie drug story was too drawn out. Christine 01-26-2006 Thursday, 08:45 AM hmm, Also, I'm sure we'll see some sort of past connection between Libby and Hurley. Something about Libby doesn't sit right with me. Interesting theory about her being in the psych hospital. The actress that plays Libby is good at playing psychos .. she played one named Abby I think on one of the soap operah several years ago Michelle&Danny 01-26-2006 Thursday, 09:05 AM I also got a weird feeling from Locke last night. That zoom-in on his face didn't give me a good feeling about him. It seems we have a bunch of so-so episodes which build to stuff and then BOOM. I agree about last week's episode... much better. It answered alot of stuff for us. The one last night just seemed to build to future stuff really. Not like we don't have enough unanswered plots already. :) Mara 01-26-2006 Thursday, 09:32 AM Doesn't it seem odd that all this stuff keeps happening and they don't ever talk about it. Like, oh yeah my brother took off in a plane filled with herion many years ago and just HAPPENED to crash on the same island, and we found him... but lets just burn the plane and not mention it to anyone. Oh yeah.. there was some weird smoke thing in the jungle that looked at Eko, while I was in a tree... but im going to concentrate on my weird dreams and not the STRANGE black smoke monster I saw in the jungle... :P I did get the feeling that Cindy and Hurley FOR sure have met before the flight. Hurley saying "Do I know you from somewhere".. had to be in there for a reason, dont cha think?? And Locke did seem creepy... when they zoomed the camera around and then he was looking at them all strangely! I was half expecting his eyes to be all black again in that shot!! And why would Jack ask Ana Lucia about training an "army" and not Sayid .. who was IN the service? Poor Sayid has not had much of a story line.. just getting left out of everything.. like last week when he didn't get to go on the party with Walt... he needs some more material! Misty 01-26-2006 Thursday, 09:32 AM hmm, I didn't get the sense of Locke being evil in this episode. I thought he was very concerned about Charlie, and disappointed in him. I agree I didn't see him as a bad guy either! I was getting confused by the posts thinking I missed something since many thought he was bad now. Michelle&Danny 01-26-2006 Thursday, 10:53 AM I don't think he's 'bad' ... I just got a weird vibe about him last night. jessjillbolyer 01-26-2006 Thursday, 10:59 AM I agree I am getting weird vibes from a lot of the people on the show. Chera25 01-27-2006 Friday, 02:42 AM He's a drug addicted rock star...big deal...they are a dime a dozen. I also don't want Locke to be a bad guy. They have often hinted at it but I just don't want it to happen. How is Hurley gaining weight??? I honestly don't think Charlie's using...there have been way too many freaky things (including freaky dreams) on this island & like he said, no one said anything to Kate about the horse or Shannon, etc. about Walt, etc. but everybody right away jumps to the heroine with Charlie... Understandable & I think they're trying to make us *think* that he's using, but my guess is that he isn't... & Up until last night, I have avidly defended Locke as being a misunderstood good guy. But he so creeped me out last night, there's something going on... I think he's up to something dealing with Claire/Aaron... Hurley: I've read spoilers, hints, whatever on the LOST boards that say that they're not letting him lose weight on purpose, we're supposed to 'find out soon' why hasn't lost any... Doesn't it seem odd that all this stuff keeps happening and they don't ever talk about it. On the LOST board (lol), they were talking about the "shout-outs" to the fans...1) how Hurley called them "Tailies", 2) Libby's asking about the NEW washer/dryer, & 3) when Charlie was talking to Locke about Kate seeing the horse, Shannon & others seeing Walt, etc... We've never seen ANYONE tell Charlie this, but he acknowledged that he'd been told. Implying that YES, they DO talk about some of the stuff at least... (& Someone DID tell Jack that Ana Lucia had killed one of 'them' even though we didn't see that original conversation take place...kwim?) And Locke did seem creepy... when they zoomed the camera around and then he was looking at them all strangely! THANK YOU for noticing that scene with Locke - it gave me goosebumps & ditto on the black eyes! Creepy! I agree with the Sayid thing, that's very odd! I don't think he's 'bad' ... I just got a weird vibe about him last night. Exactly - quite the weird vibe! & Just because I wanted to share... lol I've been reading *the* LOST board for months now & have never signed up, never posted or anything. But came across an OT thread tonight talking about Migraines/auras that sounded like seizures to me, so I posted links! lol Wouldn't ya know it!? :cool TWO more weeks?!?! Hurry up! But hey, at least Survivor starts next week! :upthumb Meg 01-27-2006 Friday, 11:08 AM I did get the feeling that Cindy and Hurley FOR sure have met before the flight. Hurley saying "Do I know you from somewhere".. had to be in there for a reason, dont cha think?? I like the theory that Libby was somehow involved at the mental hospital, either as a doc or a patient. But I have to say, when Hurley asked her that at the same time as she was showing him this semi-revealing halter top she wanted to try on, I almost got the impression he recognized her from a porn movie or something! :rolleyes Locke's character seemed to change significantly this week...from not being more sympathetic to Charlie's claims that the island was doing weird things (he's ALWAYS been the one saying, "it's the island, the island brought us here, etc.), to actually hitting him, not once but 3 times and hard enough that he needed stitches. Something is up, for sure. I never thought of him as "good" necessarily, but always kind of enjoyed his wisdom/passion...now he bothers me LOL. He does seem to be enjoying taking over Charlie's "Daddy" role a little too much. And can I just say, does Eko not have the most beautiful, soulful eyes ever?!?! :yikes That scene where was was baptizing Claire and Aaron was pretty powerful...he's very believable as a priest, despite his big size and violent past. Yes I know, it's a CHARACTER. :lol Chera25 01-27-2006 Friday, 04:10 PM And can I just say, does Eko not have the most beautiful, soulful eyes ever?!?! :yikes That scene where was was baptizing Claire and Aaron was pretty powerful...he's very believable as a priest, despite his big size and violent past. I figured with the food and he knows about it he is munching away lol... Chera25 01-27-2006 Friday, 04:51 PM Yeah I read in the tv guide mag, that they are not going to make the cast members lose a lot of weight... I figured with the food and he knows about it he is munching away lol... See that makes it sounds like they are just being nice to the actors... I heard that Hurley's not losing weight is a part of the story-line (like the rumor of something involving Walt & rapid aging...). But you never know about those rumors! :thumb lol Misty 01-27-2006 Friday, 04:55 PM I think in the beginning it was just a money issue, having what they need to get the people to lose weight and so on? not sure... But I know this was mentioned a long time ago that to not expect them to gain any weight, I remember reading the article to hubby back before this season started. I think it was also something to work into the plot. Christine 01-27-2006 Friday, 04:55 PM And can I just say, does Eko not have the most beautiful, soulful eyes ever?!?! :yikes That scene where was was baptizing Claire and Aaron was pretty powerful...he's very believable as a priest, despite his big size and violent past. Yes I know, it's a CHARACTER. :lol I totally agree with this .. they really do cast roles well :thumb I was very moved by the baptism also theROX 01-27-2006 Friday, 08:10 PM About Hurley's weight...they mentioned that he wasn't losing weight once and it was like...wow I can't believe they just pointed that out! The guy that got blown up by the dynamite (remember before they blew up the hatch they had to transport the dynamite) he said to Hurley that he had suspicions about a lot of things, and one of them was that there never seemed to be any food to eat...so why wasn't Hurley losing weight? or something like that. It was funny that he brought it up. Chera25 01-29-2006 Sunday, 04:40 AM Here's a link about Hurley's weight... (LOL) http://forums.go.com/abc/primetime/lost/thread?threadID=809458&forumStart=0 |
