OK...I am not good with this charting business. I thought I understood it better, but this cycle is throwing me off. The pos OPK on Monday made me think I'd O in the next 12-36 hours. This morning, I had a temp drop and I still haven't had a temp rise. Maybe I'll ovulate either today or tomorrow...but that just seems a long time after the pos opk. I am really glad I'm going ot the doctor tomorrow. I'm taking my chart with me! Hopefully he can tell me what is going on.
I have a feeling my appt tomorrow will be a little crazy considering I'm taking Nora with me...everybody we know has a sick kid & her Nora's best friend's mom is currently in labor...hhhmm. It'll be fun!
Anybody who has chart/temped ever had such a long period between pos opk and O temp rise?

I wish that I could help you out, but I suck with charting.
Are you planning to do an OPK today?

I think it depends on if you are using a monitor for OPK or just the sticks. When you get the positive O using a monitor, the pos O indicated can be anywhere from 24 to 48 hours before it actually happens. The OPK is just saying...Hey U! Better get to BDing gurly ;)
I bet your temps rise over today and will reflect that in the morning.

Dr Graham said that just because you get a positive OPK doesn't mean you actually ovulate. It means that you have a surge and should ovulate but if a folical is not ready you wont actually ovulate.
Good luck! Update ASAP Stacey!

That is the same thing that TCOYF says. I figure my temps will change overnight. I *feel* like I'm about to ovulate and I don't know how to explain that...but it just feels like I haven't yet. I probably won't do another OPk today just because I don't have any and I won't be able to get to the store today because of the tile guys. But I'll see what my doc says.
I'm guessing if my temps don't rise tomorrow morning, that he will go ahead and do an u/s. But if they do rise, then he probably won't. I mean what would be the point?
Anyway, thanks for your support guys.

I think it is more often 24-48 hours after pos.opk that you'll O. Plus my temp drops sometimes the day I O and then shoots up the next. I have O'd 2 days after my pos. test, so it can be possible. Hope you finally O'd and caught that eggie!

well, who knows what happened. My temps went up a slight bit this morning, but nothing that really said, 'ovulation'. I'm going to the doc at 11, so we'll see what he says. This TTC is just way too much trouble. I'm about to give up and just BD every other day and hope it works!
And yes, usually my temp dips big and then goes back up the day I ovulate...but not this time!

Man...I give you all props...I don't know that I could go through all this charting and taking temps and tests all the time! I am really praying over here for all of you that are TTC!

thank you Alisah! It's not easy. This is my 4th cycle and I didn't go through this with my first. I've only been doing it for 4 months and I'm worn out...my hats are off to people who have done it longer!
