TTC Gals...

How is everybody doing? Where are we in our cycles? How are we feeling? What's the mood this week? Anything exciting going on other than a lot of BDing? :)

I'm waiting to O. Going for the u/s on Thursday to see if the folicle is ready to release an egg. I've been grumpy all week because AF lasted way too long (sorry TMI).

Exciting in our house is that the contractors on coming on Monday to hang drywall, paint and tile Nora's bathroom. Then all we have to do is wait on the cabinets and countertops to come in and we are set!

Doing okay over here.

I am taking Provera and waiting on AF to show. I am a grumpy and easily ticked off these days...it is a good thing that DH is doing as much travelling as he is right now b/c I have not been very fun to be around.

I got a pos O on Tues, Wed & Thurs.... I have NEVER gotten that many! I am super excited! Even though I was ready to kill Robert Tues night he "did his job" Wed & Thurs & Fri...:lol

So I am in the 2WW.. I have been in a HORRIBLE mood! I am really nervous AF will come early again.. last cycle it came on CD21... and CD1 this cycle was on 1/1/06....

I have the apointment with Dr.G @ W2W on Tues... I am really excited to meet her!

Me too! I have been cramping today which means one of to things..I could be implanting or get ready to start. Who knows. W2W is Women to Women... I am all about abriviations...lol Af lasted a long time this cycle too...and then 3 pos O... this cycle has been really wierd.. maybe that is a good thing!

all these abreviations... I am lost at times!! LOL

I am on CD22... it is that fun week where you interperate everything as a possible preg. sign. :shake .. and then you count down those days to take a test... :)

Well, Provera is one pill a day for 10 days. Sometimes I have had to take the entire Rx then wait a day or 2 for AF to show. Other times I have taken 3-4 days worth and then spotting then AF, so I have not had to take the whole Rx.
When I told my OB about the difference, she said it is due to possibly Oing late (CD 30 or late) and not knowing it.

Wow, that is late! How long has your cycle been?

I think I'm Oing early this month! I'm already starting to see fertile CM and it's only CD10. And for me that is early. I usually don't ovulate until CD21. I told dh that since I'm seeing *signs*, that we have to BD every other day for now...it might need to increase when I get a lot of EWCM! I can't wait to see my folicle! ;)

Have you done an IUI?

Today is CD 46..the longest cycle I have had was 66 days and that was b/c I took Provera to bring it on.

I have done anything besides Clomid. I will move onto a RE at some point this year if we are not PG by mid year.

Congratulations on seeing early O signs! Let the BDing commence! My fingers are crossed for you. Are you using OPKs as well?

I'm not using OPKs. I didn't find them helpful before, but I might go ahead and try them. I guess I should tomorrow...we'll see. I am going to have the sono on Thursday to see if the folicle is preparing to release an egg...or some such. So I guess really instead of using OPKs, I'm using an u/s this time. My doc is going to try and peg ovulation so we can figure out when I'm o'ing.

I really hate BDing...it gets tiresome. But we'll see what happens!

I forgot you were doing the U/S this cycle. I use 2 kinds of OPKs, but try some $ Tree ones this cycle along with your U/S, so you know if they are working for you. When you get a pos OPK it means that you will more than likely O in the next 24 hours.

My OB told me to use FMU with my OPKs and gave us the BD schedule of every other day prior to pos OPK and when I get a pos OPK BD every day for 3 days. That, of course, was when we were using Clomid, so O was much more predictable.

I am only cd 5. Just started another cycle. It is my 5th clomid cycle so I'm praying for a miracle now. I know all too well about the bad moods these days. I am just getting to where I can't take the disappointment anymore. But I know I can't give up. So good luck to all of us!

I've got some opks here. I guess I'll start today and see what happens. I heard that isn't best to do them in the am. WHen do you guys do the opk?

I did FMU with all my OPKs at the advice of my OB, and had no problems with getting pos OPKs.

what is FMU?

FMU=first morning urine

oh...FMU. makes perfect sense...lol.

I tried FMU in previous months, but it didn't work for me. Matter of fact, I had EWCM had a pos OPK. Then 5 days later I still had EWCM and took another OPK (I wasn't temping at the time) and had another pos OPK. So totally screwed up with me!

But here is what I have read...

"The best time to test is 2 p.m., or as close as possible. Anytime between noon and 8 p.m. is fine, first morning urine is not recommended. The reason for this is that most women experience a surge in the morning, but it can take 4 hours for it to show up in your urine."

"Instructions may vary slightly depending on what kit you use but in general, you should try to collect your urine between 10am and 8pm — the best time is supposed to fall between 2pm and 2:30pm. Try to collect your urine at about the same time every day, although this is not absolutely necessary. Don't test your urine as soon as you wake up because you may miss the first day of your LH surge."

Since I didn't do FMU today, I'll do it this afternoon. i really don't think I should O until next week...but we'll see what happens Thursday!

The afternoon testing never worked for me...not sure why.

yes it is. I think opks don't work for me. But who knows! I can't figure this TTC stuff out.

I just went ot the bathroom and I have an abundance of EWCM! Hello...it's only CD10!!! What is the deal? Guess we'll just have to BD tonight!

The box of the ones I use say the same thing you quoted. I take mine arond 4pm because J will only nap on me(or in the truck) so I have to wait until he wakes up to pee.. lol
