Did you start on your own, or did you get the provera? I never saw a post with a final decision! I was just curious what you decided!
How are you otherwise?

How are you otherwise? Cara 01-18-2006 Wednesday, 05:14 PM Oops, sorry I forgot to update you! I had some Provera left over (9 tabs), so I decided to start taking it. No sign of AF yet. I'm just ready for a new cycle. I am doing okay...I have worked the past few nights and I have to work tonight, so I have been busy. I was not feeling well last week and had a ton of blood work done, but everything came back normal. x Thanks for checking on me! Stacey 01-18-2006 Wednesday, 06:00 PM It's good that your bloodwork came back normal. I had mine checked for various things week before last because I've been extremely tired. I thought maybe my iron or thyroid were off...but nope and I'm still tired. So there was no chance that the bloodtest pg test was too soon? I was holding out hope that it was just done too early! I don't know a lot about clomid, but I've known a couple of friends that took it and it threw their cycles into a tizzy. Hopefully you'll start a new cycle soon. That way you can just relax and rest your mind for awhile. Cara 01-18-2006 Wednesday, 09:32 PM I am positive that the blood pg test is correct...this is based on BD timing and DH's travel schedule. I wish that I could say that I was holding out hope for a pos pg test this cycle, but it just isn't meant to be. Clomid actually was a wonder drug for me as far as my cycles go. I O'ed between CD 17-18 and started AF on CD 31, which is pretty darn normal. Unfortunately, my cycles are a disaster off of it. I am happy to hear that your blood work came back normal. Have you tried taking a multivitamin. Have you recently changed anything in your diet? Does Nora take a nap during the day? Can you lay down while she is sleeping? I know that sometimes I need a 30 min nap in the afternoons, esp since I change back and forth from night shift to days. I was feeling really jittery/shaky and not myself, so that is why I went to my internal med MD last week. It sucks to not feel well. I am feeling better now...it kind of magically went away. Who knows?!?! Stacey 01-18-2006 Wednesday, 11:27 PM Have you tried taking a multivitamin. Have you recently changed anything in your diet? Does Nora take a nap during the day? Can you lay down while she is sleeping? I am taking prenatals and have been since I got pg the first time. I have just added l-arginine, vitamin E, folic acid and B complex. I read online that they all help with fertility...who knows. I could take a nap when Nora does, but that is the only time I can get things done and no I don't mean housework cause my house is rarely neat and tidy! ;) That is when I sew, pay bills and get my projects done or make calls. I should really try to just rest a bit maybe during her morning nap. Your cycle sounds a lot like mine. I was 28 days almost to the hour before getting pg. Now my cycles are running about 31 days long. I've been O'ing on day 23 lately and that just isn't good enough. Hopefully with the U/S next week we'll be able to tell when I'm actually O'ing. It would probably be in my best interest to just sit back and be patient and let God take the wheel...but it's so darn hard! Cara 01-19-2006 Thursday, 07:48 AM Is your OB doing the U/S? What CD will you be for the U/S? Do you think that your LP is short...progesterone would help to lengthen it. Believe me, I know how hard it is to be patient...being patient is NOT one of my best qualities. lol Stacey 01-19-2006 Thursday, 07:54 AM My OB is doing my u/s. That is one of the things I love about him...he does all his patients u/s. Matter of fact, the reason he was going to be out of town on my due date with Nora was because he was going to thing to learn more on u/s. I think my LP is short...he thinks maybe I'm wrong about my O day and that's why we are going to do the U/s. We are going to do the u/s on day 14 or 15 can't remember. I think it's too soon, but we'll see what's going on. We may have to do it again a few days later. |
