She just had her 6th chemo treatment on Wednesday. Today she is having a really hard time. Sorry if this is TMI, but the chemicals in the chemo go right through her and I know that a lot of people who go through this throw up...she doesn't. It is horrible diarrhea. Needless to say, it's so awful that she just cries. It has been lasting for 2-3 days after the chemo treatment and then she feels pretty good. But those days are really bad.
She thinks her hair is starting to thin and the longer she's on chemo the more likely it is that she will probably loose most of it. She's not vain by any means, but she is a little sad about that.
Last week she went to MD Anderson for her 6 week check up. All of her scans showed that the cancer isn't spreading and that it is getting smaller. Her doctor there is very pessimistic and it really brings her down after she sees him. But her doctor in East Texas is just the opposite and he thinks all of her test results from Houston were great! He thinks things are going in exactly the right direction.
We are really relying on the Lord to heal her and make this cancer go away! So far the prayers are working! But it's still not easy for her to go through the cancer or the chemo! Please keep her in your prayers!
