not this month

I woke and took my temps this a.m. I always use 2 thermometers just because I don't know why even though they always give me the same temp. But this morning one gave me a temp of 97.6 which is just above my coverline and one gave me 98.1 which is high. Big difference and I took them one after the other. Wierd. After I took my temps, I got up to potty and there was pink. So I guess AF will be here in full force sometime today. This is probably the biggest disappointment so far. High temps and 2 days late was just too deceptive!

Well, you COULD be having implantation bleeding - not to get your hopes up though. If it's a light period, you still could very well be pregnant! You are 2 days late??? Are you ever late???

I'd be 3 days late by my calculations but here's the thing about me being late...

My first PPAF was in June '05 - 42 days
Aug '05 - 35 days
Sept '05 - 31 days
Oct '05 - 30 days
Nov '05 - 30 days

I thought that at this point, I was on a regular 30 day cycle. But it looks like I'm on a 34 day cycle this time. So I'm just messed up. lol.

Well, I'm sorry. :( But until you're full-fledged bleeding, it's not over! Hopefully it will be very very soon!

When I was charting my temps, the day that my period came, the temp dropped like a ROCK. Was the high one the first one you took and then it dropped? That is so weird.

I took them within seconds. I do every morning. But today there was just a huge difference.

Are you taking your temp with a basal temp thermometer b/c that makes a difference?

yeah I have been. I am going to get a new one and a new battery for this cycle just in case. ;)

I'm going to be alright. This morning was pretty rough. Nora seems to know I'm sad and she keeps climbing in my lap and giving me hugs and kisses. That makes all the disappointment ease. We are going to stay in our jammies and watch tv, read books and stay in bed all day!

All of this is really hard to take and I imagine Cara you have similar questions of why. It just seems so unfair especially when you see people who have 10 kids with another on the way and they are buying formula and groceries with foodstamps. Or I see a teenage girl who is pregnant. That is when I just question God and ask him why? Becuase this just doesn't seem fair.

Cara, I am so humbled by your sweet and kind attitude. You are always so supportive of everybody on here! You seem, more than anybody, so patient and happy. In my selfish stooper this morning, God reminded me of you and I prayed for you. I think I want you to be pregnant as much or maybe more than I want to be pregnant! Somehow I just have to remember it's not on my time, it's on His time. I have living proof of that with Nora Rose. She was a gift to us while we were on BC...so she was definitely on His time not ours. I just have to be patient.

Thank you guys for your support! At least this month, we are going in for the sono and hopefully we'll see when I'm ovulating or should be or will be. My dh offered to BD every day if it would make me feel better! thanks, but no thanks...lol. ;)

Mine does the same thing. It's almost like alerts me that my period is coming. I got a drop yesterday, and AF was here by late afternoon.

BUT, after a few years of charting, I know this is not always the case. Temps can stay elevated for a day or two into AF.
