What is your timeline?

What is your TTC timeline if you don't get bfp's?


For us....
2006--We are going to try everthing we can short of IUI and Invitro(Dh's is very against both).
2007--We will start the adoption process via Theraputic Family in Rockwall... we would like to adopt an infant/ baby..ethnicity doesn't matter.

I've had a long talk with my doctor. When we found out I had started ovulating in October, we agreed 6 months and we'd take it from there. So our 6 months of TTC will be March. At that point, we'll start trying to find out what is going on. My dh and I will give all of this a couple of years unless we are told otherwise. I'm only 31 and I don't think we'll go for other options until I'm at least 35. We are unsure as to how I feel about adoption for us.

We don't have any time lines. Right now I am just trying to get my husband to get over his "issue" with having to try. He hates scheduled sex, and that I have been keeping track of when we need to. :mad

I have not brought up the other options- since he still thinks it will "just happen" (of course, you have to help me out here honey, and have sex without complaining it is only for a baby! LOL)

We have already done two IUIs (Nov. and Dec. 2005), both BFNs.
We are on a TTC "break" to help recover our finances and our sanity.
We will resume and do two more IUIs this summer.
After that we will either start the adpotion process or save up for IVF in 2007.

I am leaning towards giving IVF a try before I adpot. I would like to at least experience pregnancy once in my life, and then perhaps adpot our other children.

We have that problem around here too! I stopped telling dh when we "need" to have sex. I just started wearing sexy things and making it fun! He performs much better that way! ;)

Obiviously, we don't have a timeline since we have been TTC #1 for 2 years. But, I will give a little background on our 2 yr history...

12/2003 off BCPs and waited the 3 months before starting to TTC...unfortunately, my cycles were very irregular
5/2003...saw OB and I wanted to wait a little longer for cycles to regulate on my own
12/2004...1 year TTC, but cycles were somewhat regular, so decided to give it a little while longer
5/2005...back to OB and discussed Clomid...we are ready
8/2005...finally starting Clomid...DH had been travelling some and the timing wasn't right
12/2005...3 cycles of Clomid done with BFNs to each

Right now...we are on a Clomid break and will start back up in the next month or so. If BFNs till May, when I see my OB we will discuss other options.

Started TTC#2 in Nov. 03, but extremely irregular cycles (up to 85days between af's) to this day. Right now we are on a break as we wait for dh's insurance to kick in (new job) so I can go to the dr. to find out what's been going on... We'll see from there. :)
