20 wk appt.

Well, my 20wk appt. went well yesterday. The little bugger was actually awake and squirming around, so the doctor couldn't get a profile shot of the baby. So instead I have a picture of his feet! A little different I know, but I thought I'd post it anyway for your viewing pleasure. :D (I can't seem to get a picture to post on here, so I guess you'll have to check it out on the website below.) He has his feet crossed, so he wasn't about to give up his secret just yet. ;)

Seeing pictures of them in the womb is just sooo exciting! It brings home the fact that there is a little person inside there waiting to come out!

How cute! Jackson's favorite pose during our 20 week ultrasound was showing us his little butt...mooning us even before he was born! LOL We did get to see that it was a him, though. ;) So you're not sure it's a "he" yet? Do you have an instinct about it, one way or another? Sounds like you think it's a boy....

That is very exciting! How cute that even in the womb, he's just a little shy....

Mara - Thanks so much for posting that! I'm not sure why I was having a problem. Yesterday was the first time it really started to feel real looking at him. He was awake and squirming all over the place.....I'll never get used to how cool it is to see it. :D

Meg - I'm definately leaning to boy. :D We decided to call the baby "he" because I felt the need to call him something other than "it" or "the baby"...it just doesn't seem personal enough now that he/she's finally taking shape! If it's a girl, that will just be a greater surprise at the moment! After seeing him/her move around yesterday, I just can't wait to meet them! Come on May!! :love

Amy - Let me tell you...he wasn't shy at all at our 16wk us! I didn't know babies could spread their legs that far!! The doctor actually looked for the sex then, but he knew we didn't want to find out so he turned the screen. :p

Glad your appointment went well!! How exciting May will be here soon!! Do you want to be suprised??? We were suprised with Autumn and that was fun although we both "knew" that it was a she!! ANd even before we knew with this one I "knew" it was a boy!!

Dorothy - We definately want the surprise!! Although, like you, I definately "feel" like this is a boy. :p Of course either will be a blessing and I can't wait to find out in a few months. :D
