Isabella had her first doctor's appt on Tuesday. She is doing well. She is already up to 8 pounds! I was excited to hear that, since I am breastfeeding, I now feel comfortable with knowing she is getting what she needs. It's just neat knowing that even though she is not inside of me anymore, she is still getting everything she needs directly from me.
It was sad to see her cry when she got her shot though! :( She did better that I thought she would, but it still brought a tear to my eye.
She is scheduled to have a sonogram on Jan 20th. They just want to make sure that her kidneys are ok, since when I was pregnant with her there was dilation. The last sono I had when I was pregnant showed that it had resolved itself, but they just want to make sure. Until then I've been giving her antibiotics, to keep any kind of infections away.
