Easy and yummy fudge recipe?Danielle 12-20-2005 Tuesday, 09:44 AM I am in need of a fudge recipe that is easy and not too many steps. I have to make it tonight, after I get home from Bunco so it has to be quick! Melanie 12-20-2005 Tuesday, 09:54 AM This makes a grainy fudge not a gooey one. I'm not sure if it is easy or not I just had my mom email me the recipie the other day and haven't made it. CHOCOLATE FUDGE 2 - 1 oz. squares unsweetened chocolate 2/3 cup evaporated milk 2 cups sugar 1 tablespoon corn syrup Mix ingredients in sauce pan. Cook over medium heat until it begins to boil. Stir occasionally to make sure it is not sticking to the bottom of the pan. When it starts boiling, cover & cook for 3 minutes. Uncover & cook to soft ball stage (about 15 min.) stirring occasionally. (Check for softball by dropping a small amount from a spoon into a cup of cold water.) Remove from heat. Add 2 tablespoons of butter and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat or whip until it begins to thicken. Pour into a pan greased with butter. (8 x 8 for this recipe - 13 x 9 for a double recipe) Cool. <SCRIPT><!--D(["ce"]);//--></SCRIPT> kristin 12-20-2005 Tuesday, 10:03 AM This one was from the back of the marshmallow cream jar years ago... they have since changed it and the new recipe isn't as good! I haven't tried it- but it says "no fail!" :lol That is what I need!!!! Krysta 12-20-2005 Tuesday, 10:44 AM Here it is. Let me know how it turns out! :D NO FAIL/NO COOK FUDGE RECIPE 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate 6 ounces cream cheese softened 1 pound powdered sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract nuts optional Melt the chocolate in the microwave 20 seconds at a time until smooth. Blend chocolate, vanilla and cream cheese until smooth. Slowly mix in powdered sugar mixing as you go until everything is mixed well. Press into an 8 by 8 inch pan lined with wax paper. Put in the fridge for about 20 minutes and you can tip it out of the pan and cut to eat! No cook, NO FAIL FUDGE LOL. I love it. I do it all the time. You'll find yourself sneaking into the kitchen in the middle of the night to grab some. Danielle 12-20-2005 Tuesday, 10:47 AM Thanks! I'm am going to make it tonight. Melissa 12-20-2005 Tuesday, 10:56 AM That sounds yummy Krysta! I may have to try that one. Melissa 12-20-2005 Tuesday, 11:21 AM Danielle - even easier you can buy the unsweetened chocolate pre-melted to save even more time - that is what I do - I buy the box of it. COPA 12-20-2005 Tuesday, 11:45 AM I made this on Sunday, my first ever try at fudge and got rave reviews - of course it was from the guys drinking beer watching football but I thought it was pretty good too - and really easy! 2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk 1 1/3 cup white sugar 2 cups miniature marshmallow or 12 large marshmallow 1 1/2 cups chocolate or butterscotch chips Boil the first two ingredients for 5 minutes, stirring constantly Add marshmallows and chocolate chips, stir until everything is melted then pour into a buttered shallow baking dish. I line a 9x9 pan with wax paper instead of buttering, that way you can turn the fudge out and slice it, just peel off the wax paper. Jenna 12-20-2005 Tuesday, 11:48 AM 5 minute fudge 1 (12oz) Milk Chocolate Chips 3/4cup Butterscotch Chips 1 tsp. Vanilla 1 can of Cond. Milk Combine together on the stove and stir till melted and pour into a dish and put in the fridge for an 1hr and then EAT EAT EAT!!!!
