Sigh of relief - whew

I was a bit worried about that EGD and CT of the abdomen. My mom has had a lump on her neck for two years now that has come back inconclusive (they can't biopsy due to the location). I was scared out of my mind today.

BUT YAY those tests came back GOOD :thumb WHEW - now the cancer worry is taken care of :)

THey are going to do a sonogram on her gallbladder and another test (where you drink fats of some sort to see how that makes your gallbladder spasm). I'm so glad that they are on the right track now (according to dr. Julia's internet research :lol) and I'm relieved they did the other tests (the more negative tests - the more sound I sleep).

So I'll let you know what they say about the gallbladder. WOrst case they have to remove it. She could have surgery on a Friday and I could bring her to TX the following Monday to stay at our house to recoup.

Anyhoo - thanks for the positive thoughts and well wishes/prayers.

So glad to hear it's not cancer! You poor thing, I'm sure you're a nervous wreck worrying about her. Let us know when they do the gallbladder test. I'll be praying for her!

I have known SO many people that have gone through gall bladder surgery...my dad being one of them. It could definitely be worse than that.
