New to the group!!

Hello everyone!! My name is Brandy Lee and I am new to the group. I am from Garland, Tx and have a two y/o little boy. I am so glad I found more mommies in my area! A little about us... My son's name is Johnathon Cotton, but we call him J.C. He is 2 1/2 years old. His favorite things are cars, trucks, and more cars and trucks. He also favors blondes. (He's all boy!!) He is a very sweet little boy, but a little reserved like his daddy. He loves to play with other kids, but we have had a hard time locating them outside a daycare. I am 23 years old, married for 3 years to a great guy (John), and I love to scrapbook and write, but lately I have been very busy with work. I am a work at home/ work in the office mom. This is somewhat of a recent decision. I worked for a group of cardiothoracic surgeons right after J.C. was born; about 6 months ago, I started working for a group of surgical assistants from home. I am really having a blast with work. It is a relatively new company and business is really booming. I love the extra time with J.C. and I love that he doesn't have to go to daycare. I would be very interested in as many playdates as we can find. I am really looking forward to meeting other moms in the area and making some great new friends, for the both of us!

Wow, yet another Garland mom! I'm Chris, a SAHM to 17 month old Josh. Welcome to the board! :)

Are there a lot of Garland moms? I know my2babies already, she is a great friend of mine. I would love to meet up with other Garland moms with toddlers. Well, my little boy isn't really a toddler, but he's two. Anyhow, I would love to meet moms in Garland with younger children.

Hmmn...can't tell you how many for sure. It just seemed like we were getting a lot of intros from Garland over the past few months! :D

Hi Brandy, and welcome (is Lee your last name or part of your first name? Sorry if I misaddressed you!). My name is Stephanie and I have a 2 year-old son named Ford. We live in north Dallas-Plano at the moment but will be moving a little farther North soon (my husband just accepted a job in Frisco). I'm a SAHM who quitted dental school to have kids, but I don't intend to return. My brain has turned to mush, anyway, even if I did want to go back to school. It's only getting squishier now that I'm pregnant again :nut
