Please pray for Officer Nava's family.

Just wanted to ask for prayers for Fort Worth Police Officer Nava's family.
He was shot 2 days ago in the head serving a warrant, and passed away today. He left his wife and 2 small children behind.

As a firefighter's wife...this is a worry to our families every day that our husbands are in danger when they go to work. But when things like this happen it becomes a tragic reality and is very hard to take.

Police and Firefighters stand together during times like this, and I am sure there will be a fund set up for the family and children in the next few days...so while many of us give to charities this time of year...please consider donating to their fund. I will post them as soon as I know.

I saw on the Fox 4 News site that he passed away. My heart just breaks.

Dh used to be a police officer and a fire fighter. My heart goes out to this family.

We are praying for his family.

I hadn't heard that he pased away. We have been out all evening.

He has been heavy on our hearts ever since the incident happened. :(
