Well, we are thinking I might (finally) be pregnant now. I am going to the Doctor on Tuesday to find out for sure, but his office called me this morning telling me to take a test tonight and then call them on Tuesday to discuss the next step.
I have been on Provera a couple of times now and have always started a new cycle, but I haven't started yet. I called my dr's office this morning since he told me to call if I didn't start. The nurse told me that I am probably pregnant and to take a test tonight and if it's no, then she'll give me a stronger (?) one on Tuesday. But if it's still negative, I don't know where we go from there. Just back on the Provera I guess...
Anyways, just wanted to keep everyone updated. Cross your fingers for me! :test :)

I took a test and there's supposed to be two pink lines if you're pregnant, and just one if you're not. Well, I got one pink line and one WHITE line! What does that mean?! Is that a maybe? I don't know how I could have done the test wrong, but I've actually only taken one other pregnancy test five years ago with Tristan, so I could have done something incorrectly. It seemed like the second pink line was trying to show up and just stopped at a faded white color! So, I'm confused, but I am going to wait and take another one in the morning when the hormone is supposed to be stronger. I'll post again in the morning!
Thanks so much everyone for the words of encouragement. I have two children and have never actually "tried" to get pregnant before, but I have a new sympathy with others seeing how stressful it has been, and it's only been four months for us without any fertility drugs or anything, so I definitly have a new respect for other parents trying to conceive!
Anyways, thanks again and I'll post in the AM! :love

I am going to bet that is a line too. I took about two tests a month for 5 months trying for Ellie. When I finally was pregnant I took 3 just to make sure. On all of them the second line was light, but there. I know it makes you doubt, but my thought would be a line is a line. Good luck!!!

I agree! A line is a line! When I took my test with Zoë, it was after trying for 12 months (so 11 tests) and I took it so early that there was a line, and a barely visable line. Almost so light that at times I wondered if I was just seeing what I wanted to see!

Good Luck!

Hugs!

a line is a line. Get the earliest response test you can find. Some three days before your period is supposed to start.

How exciting!

I haven't retested yet. The nurse told me to do it on Monday and I just went ahead and took one early, so I think I'm going to wait and see what it says then. My dh says that it's a line too though, so hopefully I am pregnant. I'll call my doctor in the morning and see what's up. Does anyone know how long it takes for that hormone (DGH??) to show up strong enough in your body for a test to come up positive?

Mara-LOL.
I kept looking at that first line thinking I must be crazy and seeing things how I wanted them to be...:hammer

I'll keep everyone updated! Thanks for all the kind words! :throb

It all depends on the sensitivity of your test.

Some early hpts can detect the hormone a few days before your period is even due. Most can detect accurately after your period should have been here. Then of course there are factors that come into play like if you may have ovulated later then you think, or if the baby implanted late. Both of those can effect the tests.

Do you chart or use opks?

I hope this is it for you. :D
